This phone can charge around 2 hours+ full, not starting from 0% of course. If you use a wrong adpter that have low output, chances are your phone will charge super slow. The phone adapter plays a big role here. Get a charger with 1.5A output for fast charging. It usually labelled on the charging adapter. Charging using your laptop is worst. Laptop usb output power is usually only 0.1A. USB 2.0 offers output power of 100mA(0.1A) and USB 3.0 offers 150mA(0.15A). This can brings you to 6-8 hours to fully charge a phone or tablet with 3000mah-4000mah battery. I buy myself a charging adapter with 2.0A output for faster charging. It should have label like '5v - 2.0A'. Tablet charger usually have this rate.

Battery is good, display is very nice, wifi is stable , great phone but...after 7 month, my zenfone screen is going crazy, suddenly android die.

Hello
I tested my zenphone6. I used it for 24h with Viber, Telegram, 1 hour surfing internet, 30 minutes talking and SMS, ... .I update my phone in the test time.
It used 50% battery. In the attachment pictures you see my phone battery in setting menu.that is showing 49% used for 1 day, 0 hour, 0 minute, 28 sec.
I think it is OK. You don't think?

Bought this few months ago and in all aspects except its great except gaming and battery life. If use for ordinary internet surfing,social app calls and sms, the battery is great but when I played my favourite games Angry Bird Star Wars 2, the whole time, it last I didn't count it but I believe it last about 2 plus hous only thats why I'm, turned off by this phone. And while playing it, the battery often overheats and automatically shuts down by itself.
This is the two aspects I don't like about this phone really phone. With ordinary use, its great but there's occasionally a heating problem but not as bad as when I'm playing game with it.

Battery is good, display is very nice, wifi is stable , great phone but...after 7 month, my zenfone screen is going crazy, suddenly android die,i have sent to warranty,they told me my screen is problem,and got it back for almost 3 weeks, then the same problem happen twice,i am very frustrated.the worst, mine cannot read any micro sdcard anymore.it is better for me to buy other brand to replace this one.please think twice before buying this one.

Recently i have bought new Zenphone 6. Phone is very gud and having gud battery backup. But now i have problem that cannot open the phone gallery. Once i insert my SD card to copy paste the contacts from old phone to this phone and i remove the SD card, after that it happen. Is Asus service center can fix this pblm???????

screen on time,gaming or no gaming, wifi and 3g signal quality, the about or crappy software like facebook you have installen en gps usage all decide how long you do with your Phone and what your total use time till charge and screen on time is.
i can easely get 100 hours standby and 8 hours screen on time. but then again i have brightness set to minimum as i find it enough i dont game i dont need gps and i dont install bad apps and my wifi and 2G signals are optimal. and yes i use 2g as its enough for whatsapp and is more then twice as efficient as 3g. and they are both Always on.

Asus is very bad. Everyday I must charge 6 to 7 hours to full the battery. After the battery full.. i get only 6 hours to use this phone.. without playgames n just use whatsapp

aditya gupta, 04 May 2015worst phone. ever I have used it heats very faststop complaining about heat.... i have had 7 devices past years and they all heat equaly. theres a cpu inside what do you expect.
if you dont want a heating cpu in your Phone buy a second hand nokia 3210.
and its not like the heating is irritating as they dont get nearly hot enough EVER.
root it and downclock it to 800 mhz and it will heat less but dont go gaming as it wont work.

Best phone ever. Love the big size and now I dont feel like a primitive person using tiny 4 inch phone. This is 2015 baby and big size is all that matter. I also almost buy LG G3 Stylus which is also big and beautiful. As long as it is a trustable brand Im on it. Dont ever buy brand that is not international because those phone suck and they lack support. You wouldnt even find them on the internet. Asia smartohone is the best. Oh yeah! Now I sound like a drunk woman.
