I just got mine, still on 4.4.2 kitkat. I upgraded it today to 5.0 lollipop.
Never expected that this is a pretty nice phone to have. coming from previous experiences with big brands' flagship smartphones.
I never thought that it can pretty cope up with other flagships out there. still, Zenfone 6 is a best buy for a budget. :)

I have asus zenfone 2 on hand it look better than samsung galaxy s6 edge. it easy to use and long life battery and price suite to me. this is my best choise of smart phone.

Really glad to handeld the Asus zenfone6...I think the 7, 8 or 10 inch display are to big to grab, this phablet much really exchange the tab function..I just can read e-book, viewing my pdf file...even I knew the battery life is not so strong, but it depend on how/ what purposed we use this device...

Hello guys, i have upgraded my Zenfone6 to Lollipop, I didn't like it so I decideded to downgrade back to kitkat. I have downloaded file from Asus official site and started downgrade, but i can't turn on my phone only appears "ASUS IN SEARCH OF INCREDIBLE"and then it restarts . i tried to connect to PC, charge, but nothing worked. have you any ideas how can i turn on? I even tried hard reset by pressing power button and volume button, but nothing happens .
Please tell what can I do now.

i just bought and use zen 6 around 3 weeks...
my zen 6 always shut down automatically and show "thermal critical event occured"...
any solution for this problem my freind?

-Use micro sim and not cut sim.
-If sim setting is activated or not
-Check for latest FOTA update,
-help to check unit in safe mode: https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1005163/
-if working fine in safe mode perform factory reset,
-Cross test SIM in another unit.

shelton , 18 Mar 2015what is 3.5mm jack? :-) A small round connector for accepting the pin-shaped plug from a standard pair of music headphones.Older phones used a smaller 2.5mm jack for phone headsets. 3.5mm refers to the approximate diameter of the connector. 2.5 and 3.5 mm connectors look very similar, differing only in size.

If the issues persist, i suggest you to reboot to recovery and perform the wipe cache partition.. you can try zentalk forum. i hope this helps you. Good Luck..

I used the asus zenfone 6 ,A601CG- a very disturbing experience, the battery performance was not great.The speaker was very low always, sometimes even on the loudest ringer volume , i wasnt able to hear a call coming.
There are other features which are good, but they were not of much use to me .
(for eg. Creating separate folders in gallery ,and some inbuilt software)

i really hate the battery, too fast run out and the battery temperature really high until it can restart by it own. . . the sound pretty slow
