Is ASUS 7Z going to launch in India , if so what is the date?

I really cannot understand ASUS's logic of using Snapdragon 865 chipset for the vanilla variant when the Pro variant utilizes the much more powerful Snapdragon 865+ chipset. If ASUS goes for the premium midrange Snapdragon 700 5G series chipset like the 765G and drops the RRP a little lower to €599, then this vanilla variant would make much more sense.

This new phone is kinda pricy, distribution for the zenphone 6 in the uk is utter trash, whilst its better with this one. Apart from that a lot of these specs really seem to get my interest, perhaps next year when the next model comes out I'll consider getting this used. Especially since by then I might want to replace my Redmi Note 7. I don't hate Xiaomi that much, I just think this is a sick phone.

Siva, 14 Oct 2020Asus 5z was the last phone I could see in India that to in... moresame here. i'm using the 5z and wanted to upgrade my phone for this year model because of the screen and battery but it seems like Asus is not interested to have a market in my country. been missing zenfone 6z model too. the last model in my country is 5z. what a shame.
as of right now, the smartphone market are packed with Chinese and Korean smartphone which i beg to differ than the rest. will hold till next year and hoping the next model will be in our country. really looking forward.

Asus 5z was the last phone I could see in India that to in short supply. I waited for 6z to appear but could not buy it. Now 7z has also released. Why asus is not marketing their nice phones in India. Especially when the people are seeking non Chinese phones nowadays.

FYI guys there is where the notification LED is on ZenFone 7:

Will always have to keep the phone's bottom side facing you to see the LED. Can't be seen if you get up, return to the room, phone is on a table but you are now facing it at a different angle.

My country only sold the ROG Phone 3, by their ROG marquee.
Since last year Zenfone 6 also missing from selling in my country, I don't think this Zenfone 7, even the 7 Pro version will be sold.
All these are due to the poor sales in Malaysia.
They are focusing all the effort on the ROG Phone 3 rather than these.
There are grey import though, but the pricing is more expensive than ROG Phone 3.

This is released but not sold in bundle with any operator in Sweden. What are you doing Asus? All the other chinese phones are backed up with different operator but seems like you don't care to get into the market. If you look up a new samsung they will offer a deal on it so where is this for asus? Nobody is going to suddenly pay same price for this compared to samsung S20 with a paymentplan in the price..

This phone is starting to look like vaporware... Been released for 10 days yet nowhere to be found anywhere in the world. I hope not cause this is one of the most complete phones ever. Too bad it doesn't have a 3,5mm, ir blaster and notification led.

I hate chinese but i will buy this just because of light weight and different look. Processor is okk okk but i have no option. I cant go with other same look phones. I like LG velvet but it was not released in India. And samsung uses poor exynos.

230 gm??? No thanks...I have waterproof LG G7 plus ThinQ weighing around only 160 gm, why cant others do this? That extra 0.5 inch definitely cant weigh 60-80 gm.
