Nice to see the snapdragon 865 in there , some of its other specs seem a bit on the lower tier side , but it could still be big win if it is the right price .

Please don't screw it up by skipping the OIS/EIS on the camera for still pics like Zenfone6. I skipped it as a possible choice for it.

i don't mind the LCD...i dropped my lg v20 and it got a nasty crack on the screen but it still works just fine. my amoled galaxy s4 stopped working entirely with a very minor crack.
so yeah give me lcd anyday!
the thing I'm bummed out about is the usb 2.0
i use my v20 as a spare laptop by connecting it to a second hand nexdock, made possible because of the usb 3.1 port.
if i'm buying a SD865+ phone, i expect it to do heavy productivity tasks by connecting it to a monitor. i know i can get the rog 3 for that but man this rotating camera is so cool! i almost bought the zenfone 6 but it went out of stock in less than a year.

IS it me or did asus miss their year with Bad illogical phone ??
Like Rog phone charging more $$$ for just for useless 24Fps in a phone and useless macro camera with.no.jack
At the end then new Xiaomi IS faster and better in any point lool
And now zen7 with good cPU but Bad screen
At least put a 90hz LCD for 400$

Well if there is a Pro version than it is OK, if there is not it is not OK(for many as far the comments on the Internet says). I got they want to sell a cheaper phone, but come on, a cheap LCD display? 2x optical zoom only as we would be in 2016, 2017? Asus can do much better, and sell it at a lower price than the majority of flagships out there(a 750 Euro phone with better specs I think is worth the try).
Oh and hats off for the battery.

Hopefully it won't come with the same battery issues that ruined the ZenFone 6. Otherwise it would definitely be one of the best releases this year.
