Really no phones are perfect... If this one has the microSD slot and a telephoto camera, it'll definitely be my G6 replacement

Stop comparing this to the A40 and other small phones. This is far superior in terms of specs

148mm tall is too big for 5.92 inch screen.
144.4 x 69.2 x 7.9 mm is for 2 years old Samsung Galaxy A40 5.9 inch screen.
Also Iphone 12 mini that has 5.4 insc screen is 131.5mm tall
Also year old Galaxy A41 that have 6.1 inch screen is only 149.9 mm tall

Glad to see Asus doin small phones again. Sure, its a bit thicker, but i would take that over having 6.7" smartphones that dont even fit in most pockets. Wish we could see more normal sized phones in the budget market with decent specs, right now besides Pixel ( even that is a stretch for the budget market) there are no other affordable phones with ~6" screens.

Anonymous, 07 May 2021Or even zoom lens. This is such a set back coming from Zenf... moreIt's depend on your preference. I prefer compact, less wide and tall body rather than wide and tall body. Believe me, 9 mm isn't too thick and 4000 mAh will enough for me to get 24 hr of standard usage.
On point of pricing, yes I agree with you that SD 7xx series would be enough to make the price under $500. Let's wait the launching. Since Asus, usually, have a bad pricing at launching time, but the price will go done not so long then.
