I have mine since 2 months. I ordered the 16GB version directly from Asus, because the price-difference to the smaller ones is not that huge. In my opinion, build-quality, performance, battery-life, a.o. is simply amazing. Usually, I sell my phones after 6 months and switch to another. But this one will stay much longer.

Compared to the former 8. This 9 design take is fantastic. I'm not fan of Asus but this time their designer team need an appreciation.

Hi,
I am pleased to buy this 16 gb 256 gb unit from bangladesh.I want to say that please give the os update for five years so that people can use this phone for long time.this unit is quite good so minimal design but its a beast.

Had the exact same feeling.
Bezels of a 2018 phone.
The AMOLED didn't feel that good, either.
In comparison, the Xiaomi 12X and the Sony 5 IV seemed to have more of a wow factor.

No problem with the screen size, but Asus needs to jack up its battery size for at least 6,000 mAh.

just got this phone to test out. i like the form factor. it is almost identical to samsung s9 size. Which for me is the goldilocks zone. not too big, not too small. Battery is good. better than most phones this size. Camera is about s9/s10e quality. Microphone quality is not as good as an s9 or s10e though. I do a lot of audio recordings. so for me that is a let down. it is not bad. It is just about 75% the mic quality of the s9/s10e. For Everyday tasks, the speed difference is not much faster than an s10e. Its amazing how geekbench numbers look like it should be twice as fast, but in reality it is only about 10% faster. they should make a budget version phone of this with a cheaper cpu and sell it for $250 less. I think that would be a better deal.

Zenfone 9 feels really incomplete without a microSD slot, just doesn't match with overall theme of this phone. It would be better to leave out gimbal stabilization than microSD slot. Come on Asus, you did everything well but this one bad decision can't be ignored.
