When I hold a 10" ipad landscape two handed and play games it looks like most people holding a Galaxy note doing the same. Plus...games, videos, movies, and online shopping on small screens is weeeeaaaakkkk! I've never seen someone buying a tv tell the sales person...even though the 70" Samsung is on sale for the same price as the 32" one hook me up with that puny one cuz I really like to squint. Plus, bonus points, it'll annoy all my friends when they come over to watch something and we gotta keep rewinding to figure out what's actually going down...🤣

I have just got this amazing compact phone last week.
So far,
The phone feels premium and the design is just awesome.
Top top performance without any lag or heating issue.
The processor is blazing fast and the user interface is buttery smooth.
The camera quality is not exceptional but when you buy this phone, you don't buy it for superb camera. The camera performance is more than enough for me. The photos are good with bit high satuatiom and sharpeners.
Night mode is also good enough.
The battery life is great, had bad battery life for first few days then it keeps improving a lot. Now I get 8+ hours SOT with normal usage which is more than enough for me. I am happy with the battery life.
Overall this is the best compact phone in the market, there is no competition.
Hats off to Asus for this amazing perfect phone... I love the phone and I would buy it again...

My 'must haves' in shopping for my phone were a top-of-the-line chip set, headphone jack and not made in China. That narrowed my choices to Zenfone 9, ROGs and Sony Xperia 1 and 5. Would have bought the Xperia 1 but couldn't stomach the price so I went with the Zenfone 9 at half the price. Can't say it blows me away but I also don't regret buying it in hindsight. Pros: super fast processing; bright, smooth and responsive screen; wired audiophile headphones sound very good - bluetooth headphones simply can't compete; fingerprint reader on power button is quick; speakers are quite loud and clear; reasonable battery life. Cons: only 2 years of OS updates (almost a deal breaker for me); no SD slot to expand memory; camera performance is below flagship quality but adequate for my needs; glass screen protectors don't quite fit.

almost all of these comments section are hillarious.. they just posted but they dont use the phone... only imagine from what YOUTUBERS tell... glad i buy this one because what i experience is totally different from what these comment...

Once you see the size of the camera in the back you will get huge expectations and the camera performance but unfortunately the Photos and videos quality very bad!

The phone itself looks pretty decent, but the lack of Android update promises (until Android 14 for the Zenfone 9, Android 16 for the S22) is what really tilts the balance toward the Samsung. Despite the audio jack which I'm going to miss dearly.

I have mine since 2 months. I ordered the 16GB version directly from Asus, because the price-difference to the smaller ones is not that huge. In my opinion, build-quality, performance, battery-life, a.o. is simply amazing. Usually, I sell my phones after 6 months and switch to another. But this one will stay much longer.

Compared to the former 8. This 9 design take is fantastic. I'm not fan of Asus but this time their designer team need an appreciation.
