Edward , 19 May 2015Why my asus zenfone c does not focus when in video mode?i dont understand the focus in video? you were saying? cause focus should be in photos right? and with subjects moving. you cant focus that primarily cause it is a video. am i making sense? ahahaha

The only downfall is that the screen is not a true IPS one, the camera photos are overly saturated.

first things first. what i'm going to write here is just my experience with my asus zenfone c. no lies. just plain truth.
battery(2500mAh) = phone charging may vary depending on the electric source, weather/temperature, outlet, charger condition, phone status (on/off) etc.
my phone goes 100% fully charged in just 2hours and lasts up to 8-10 hours (moderate usage) .... then 3-4 hours when using the internet, including downloads, video streams, uploads and surfing. i use uc (wink!) haha
camera(5MP/VGA) = yes it is just 5MP. but what do you expect? other brands put 10MP but the lens quality is very poor. and for the VGA front! just what the f! asus? what the f? hahaha i'm satisfied with the way i set my camera though. just don't go to auto mode. auto here. auto there. learn to blend and mix guys! for the video recording, it is pretty clear and fine.
Heat Issue 3/5 but still pretty descent for a very handy mid range phone. Manage your apps and your usage. It's not Nokia 3310! :P
Lagging in games may also be the fault of the game. Don't always blame the phone guys! However I experienced minor " this app is not responding.. " but it doesn't bother me though. Found out some apps are crap and the developer's fault it is! :)
smooth gameplay for me (no sound/no vibration). ★★★★!
Oleophobic coating? It gives me better handling experience compared to other phones! >:D
screen, 4.5 (good)
interface and display (good)
volume for music, call, game, recordings (good) *guys if you want loud. go buy a speaker or go to bars. hahaha :)

why is it that when i use samsung earphones in my zenfone c, it sounds like the voice or the is coming from under the ground...and when i use lenovo earphones, it sucks! i can't here anything.... how is it>???

I think it's better to buy Zenfone 4.5 cuz the price is almost similar. but you'll get a 8mp camera instead.

for a phone that costs 4500, this one is a descent compared to other smartphones out there. just got mine and it is very reasonable. guys if you want 8mp or above then spend more. i don't know if you know how to consume but my battery life descent. you just have to set your phone the way you use it conveniently. plus! it has ultra power saving mode and great specs. this phone is awesome. 5 star! :) also my charging time is just 2 hours. charging hours also depends on the outlet. not always the phone. great job asus!

Battery is very very poor. Only lasts 4 hr maximum while continuous internet browsing... Now after 3 months it lags.... Unable to switch between 2g and 3g.. Battery charging takes 3 hr.... Its totally waste for money.. Dont buy...
