Very poor phone..
Heating too much
Low battery performance
Not worthy to spend even a paisa
Hangs a lot
Dont know whats intel is doing inside
Its even poor than my last phone galaxy y

Keep away from ZC451CG. It isn't worthy for paying even 1 cent.
Asus ever promised that they will release 5.1 update for it in 2015 Q3,
NOW is almost 2016 Q3.
Overheat + drain battery + low performance & stability = Zenfone C
Glad that it is phase out now.

guys ive been using this fone for 1 year now. so far, camera is not so bad. battery depends on how u use ur fone. hang sometimes. but i tell u guys, it's still alive and kicking! i even dropped it many times. so i recommend this fone which is a cheaper one. hehe

I use this phone for more than a year. Let me share with you my opinion.
Pros:
- price
- umm .. maybe design?
Cons:
- heating, i can make popcorn using it
- gps, you will surely die using it deep in the forest
- updates. Promised L update for july 2015, a year passed .. did you guys forget?
- weight - its pretty heavy comparing with other smartphones
- camera pretty good for a potato not camera.
Should you buy this phone? No. Don't eat for two weeks and buy something better. Trust me.

why u guys so hate on this phone. its too much benefit that we could get from it. one of them mostly if it is starting to get extremely heating, i would use it to iron my clothe. it is energy saver for ur home right? so, now! say no to clothe iron. because we have asus zenfone c(lothe) iron. lol

Hey guys don't waste your money on this phone Asus zenfone C its waste phone. Its battery drains Fast and this phone heat up everytime. While using chrome it stop music player.

Used it for 4 months, I give it 6.5/10, it has very poor camera, restarting quite often, heating, locking screen. I would prefer zenfone 4 which I bought 2 yrs ago and still love it, only problem is it doesn't have LED flash, and slow data rate but works quite fine.

thatguywithnoname, 23 Jun 2016HERES A TIP FOR ZEN C USERS as you can see, my phone is ac... moreDon't disable google play services (try other google apps).. unless it's purely consuming (also happened this to me until i got rooted) try to hibernate them, i believe there's a app that you can do them without root. I don't know if that still available today.

chetn, 11 Jun 2016It's been a year I am using this phone. Neglecting camera n... morei have a solution for this.
yes, as a fellow Zenfone C user i experience this sorta trouble
still, its $96 phone. that is what happen when you buy something too cheap
what i did is
1st, upgrade your firmware to latest version
2nd, root it
3rd, get a really good SD Card (16GB Class 10 Recommended)
4th, Delete any bloatwares (this method save space and ram. also extended battery life)
5th, Install LSpeed (this can be pretty risky tho, but it's all worth it)
6th, Un Install any app that you don't need anymore
7th, Install Link2SD (this is so you can install so many apps on your phone)
8th, Install GL2SD (for gaming - move huge files to SD card. this works too well i had Asphalt 8, RR3, MC5 in this POS but, if you're resetting it download the big chunks first)
9th, enable developer option and set background process to "No Backgroud Process"
10th, Frequently Restart the phone (once in 2 days?)
For the camera, well i'm sorry the camera is actually pretty decent but it took bad pictures indoors. i hope this helps a lot.

HERES A TIP FOR ZEN C USERS
as you can see, my phone is actually pretty battery consuming (duh thats what everyone said at the comments) so, the solution is that try using nova launcher instead of a freakin zenUI launcher
Why did i do that? because its been a long time since i used the zenUI launcher and when i used it, the battery goes whoosh from 99% to 98% for like, under than 2 minutes
So, the conclusion is, the launcher itself is the power consumer and i would advice to disable Clean Master (i did disable it) and Google Play Service .
For all the peoples that want to buy this phone, its up to you guys
