I'm used to be a dslr user for years and i dont really surprised about any smartphone camera, but manual control is usefull.

I bought a unit yesterday. I just want to try a new brand, I already tried Samsung before, my most recent phone is Xperia, I am really eyeing nova 2i, because of budget but good specs, but I landed on Zenfone Max plus yesterday, because the specs are good for the price.
I am really NOT contented with the camera..... I hate Zenfone Max plus camera... I do not know what to do with it. I'm a point and shoot type of person, I'm not into selfie, I really don't ask for much, I never had a problem with Samsung, especially with Xperia.... now.... I am having a problem with ZenFone Max plus.... If only I can return it to the store. I don't know if I can find ways to fix it.

I charge the phone fully but after using for couple of minutes, it drain so fast. From 100% to 95%. So sad.

Great phone, I use it as my second or back up. Great screen, cheap price, nice build quality and great battery life. It lasts two days on pretty constant use. I don't play games but watch a ton of youtube. Only drawback is no Gorilla Glass or anything scratch resistant on it. I don't really care because I take care of my phones but I can see how this could be an issue for many people who randomly throw it in their bag etc.

Can anyone tell the advantages of M1 compared to Mi A1?
Because based on the reviews, A1's rear camera is better (I will give the rear camera for Mi A1:M1 = 12:11). On the other hand, the front camera & the voice recording definitely goes to M1. Or maybe someone has different opinion in rear camera's performance?
And in performance/battery life? Thank u

Aren't bo... moreIm not using honor 9 lite yet but my experience using nova2i is good, all i can say is huawei put such great effort to camera feature. In other words, you can choose h9lite for photo quality, camera feature and more powerfull cpu, or max plus m1 for bigger ram and rom, extendable creatifully wide lenses, and of course bigger battery.

good phone. Heats up easily when playing high quality games, though, like Tower Conquest or COC.
Just take breaks every now and then to cool it down

I couldn't pick between M1 plus or Honor 9 lite?
Aren't both of their cameras the same? Except the front camera, I think the honor 9 lite is better.
Maybe someone can give me insight, please.....

I want to ask anybody that is already use this phone, is it a good phone for that price? For comparison Xiaomi Mi A1 and the redmi note series costs around that price, and it uses a Snapdragon 6xx series. Specwise, it's inferior compare to Xiaomi, but some say that the phone has good quality, durability etc. And I understand that Asus is a Taiwanese brand, not Chinese, so the price will be higher than usual chinese phone. But some also say that it has an inferior camera, likes to overheat, and ineficient Please give suggestion on this problem. Sorry for bad english and long post, Thank you. Please answer me. Trims.
