1) Check whether you have allowed l... moreI had to dug-up the deepest section inside my closet to search my abandoned Asus phone(ZB551KL) so I can perform your instructions without hoping for a light at the end of the tunnel. I'm doing this just for you. So, here's my reply comment to you Mr. Anonymous.
1) I've always allow location access on this phone with high accuracy it always ended up draining the battery a lot faster.
2) For this particular phone(ZB551KL) the latest system update from Asus is this LMY47V.WW_Phone-13.0209. 1705. 117-20170627
3) Done, done, and done. I've never use dual sim feature with this phone and I always slot the SIM card in SIM 1 with 2G/3G/4G mode.
4) Done
5) I can't find this particular settings in this phone... Btw, this phone is still running Lollipop 5.1.1 out of the box. No root.
6) Can't find this too...
In the end, the GPS is still the same. GMaps and Waze(both updated) still showing me my approximate location based on cell tower even though the GPS settings is on highest accuracy.
I also have tried the many, many solutions given from people in Asus Zentalk forum aaand none of them actually works. I still appreciate your effort for writing the instructions though. Thank you.

i pre-ordered zenfone max pro 3gb from Lazada...but i preferrred d 64gb variant which is not yet available in the phils.hoping ASUS will offer the latter soon.

why the variant of asus zenfone dosent have a water proof funtion? last 2 years i just bought asus zenfone 3 max, unfortunetly just sink in water and its totally damage after i drain it for a month.. i think if we make a built in battery it must come with water proof funtion. by the way zenfone 3 max its too much power phone i have with the reasonble price.. thak you..

baljeet268, 08 Jun 2018we can easily hear crystal clear call in samsung, sony, mot... moreCan't say about other's brand smartphone but I've used Honor 4X, Xiaomi redmi 2 prime, Motorola G5 and Asus Zenfone Max pro.
Call quality of redmi phones are horrible!! after some time your Mic will become very weak and most of the time during the call the other side person unable to hear you properly, call quality of Honor phones is good but I find Motorola and Asus phones call quality best!
P.S. I can not comment about other brands.

1) Check whether you have allowed location in settings under maps give permission to location.
2) Check your system updates.If notification arises kindly update it.
3) Check your wifi network or mobile data signals.Check access point name and make it reset to default by going to setting>Connections>Mobile network>Acess point names>triple dot click it and press reset to default.Restart your mobile after rest to default is done.
PLEASE CHECK WHICH SIM ARE YOU USING FOR INTERNET IN YOUR PHONE .
CHECK PREFERRED NETWORK TYPE SELECT 2G/3G/4G
4) You may restart your mobile data or wifi if download speed is lower than upload speed after few seconds.
5) Go to settings>Security>under privacy go to location and turn it on>check accuracy level and choose which accuracy level you need.
6)Go to settings>System>Reset>Network settings reset>choose sim 1 or sim 2 (kindly check which operator are you using for internet)>confirm your pattern>reset settings.
follow any of the above steps as required by you.
If none of them work kindly comment it.

Sanjeev Maheshwari, 10 Jun 2018Ply store not working please advisego to setting>Apps>App info>Google play store>Storage and memory>Clear data>Go to play store app again after sometime.
Or you may clear google play services it will help.
Check update of google play store by going to google play store >menu >settings>click play store version it will display information about update.
or you may restart it.
