Anonymous, 11 May 2018A review on youtube said there is no quick charging. Even i... more1. Quick Charge phone don't explode. I own quite a few of them, they just heat up quickly, but never explode, normally won't use the phone while charging.
2. No support quick charge means is no support. It is a good to have feature, less charging time is better. Confirmation of quick charge support usually from the phone manual or direct measuring the charging voltage and ampere using are USB voltage/ampere measuring tools, this is the most accurate measurement. Some 5000mah with Qualcomm QC actually charged around 2 hours. So, meaning this phone will charge over 3 hours.
3. There are only 4 most common quick charge. Qualcomm QC is the most adopted standard, most brand supported, but not all (Motorola/Samsung/LG/Xiaomi/HTC/Lenovo/ASUS), the certified charger is compatible to all supported phone, regardless of brand and charging cable. There are phone that supported the Qualcomm QC, but not including the charger right out of the box.
Again, just need confirmation for QC. I rest assure it won't explode, and actually comes very handy when we want quicker charging.

It simply not supported. Charging time from 10% to 100% takes approximately 2 hours. Considerably fast for a 5000mah battery. If a 5000mah battery can fully charge any faster than 2 hours I would want that too. But i think it would explode from overheating of quick charge.

So mislead... moreBloat or not bloat, now it really depend, even Oneplus 5T and Motorola also not pure vanilla Android experience, but is near stock. However, this would be better than the much customized previous ZenUI, would be rank same as Oneplus 5T and Motorola for near stock experience.
Camera at this price, is hard to complain, unless go for more expensive flagship phone, or last year flagship phone.
Then, this is also a true dual sim, with dedicated micro SD slot phone.
The only thing concern me is whether it is Qualcomm QC supported, given it has 5000mah battery. I know the included charger is not fast charge, but is it compatible to Qualcomm QC? (The advertised 5V2A is not fast charge)

Battle Hero, 10 May 2018This phone use Qualcomm Snapdragon 636Don't get me wrong, I'm referring to the charging, not the processor. Even though the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 does support Qualcomm Quick Charge, it is not conformed the phone will support it.
Many side did say the phone do not support the Qualcomm QC. (Well, the Exynos processor version of Samsung's S8/Note 8/S9 does support Qualcomm QC2.0, even the processor is not Qualcomm)
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, also with Snapdragon 636, with smaller 4000mah battery, does proven support Qualcomm QC 2.0, even though it's charger that included in the box doesn't.

Souq.com is Amazon company now. Perhaps I can use Shopandship? I tried to register on Flipkart, but it asks for Indian Number to send code.

Asus says it's pure Android with no bloatwares.. So misleading. Facebook, Messenger, Instagram & Go2Pay are preinstalled on this phone. If these are not bloatwares then I don't know what bloatware means. Users rather than OEMs should be able to choose which third party applications to install on their phones. On 10th May, at 12:00 IST time on Flipkart, the Max Pro M1 sale ended before it could even start. Same flash sale strategy as of Xiaomi. I was ready to buy this phone but Flipkart screwed me. Now dropped the idea. Stock Android is useless unless it is Android One. And by the way, I don't think it runs pure Android without modification by Asus.. It looks like stock Android but there are some modifications done by Asus. Front camera ain't that good and there's no dual apps feature (confirmed from a friend) so I guess, despite being a good phone for the price, it lacks the substance that I could have.

Anonymous, 10 May 2018the messenger app facebook insta app all are preloaded if ... moreFacebook, Messenger, Insta, & Go2pay apps are preinstalled. Cannot be uninstalled but honestly they are useful everyday apps except for the Go2pay app. If you dont use them simply disabling the app is enough.
