Go to setting/connected device/printing/default print service/ turn it off guys
And Google drive auto backup is on by default, Google sync is already running for basic backup too so you might wanna turn Google drive off unless you use it to back up photos and videos

Wanna change the great le... more0 to 100 will take more than 160 minutes, and if anyone is having "device not compatible" issue while trying to install only some certain apps on playstore, don't worry and just go to your apps in settings and clear both cache then data of playstore app, and restart playstore. I found some games like mortal kombat x showing device not compatible under install section in playstore, also a guitar tuner app call guitartuna was showing same and certainly many more apps, i thought those were actually not compatible until i came to knew this was just a glitch from playstore created while first time optimising playstore on my new max pro m2. Do that and it's solved, hope it helps some people

Definately even I like stock android but not able to use it bcoz the basic features as you said applock + for me scrolling screenshot and some others like full screen gestures are not their ...and for os they release with 8.1 coz I think they are going to provide 2 major updates for this Phone so one will be pie & the other will be 10.0 so they are done with this phone that's why they launch with 8.1 just like Xiaomi always launch their Phones on older version and provide newer version so they are done with Asus also doing the same things and for Facebook coz Facebook have a contract with OEM so they can mine our data on system level....

You can try Google camera by enabling camera2api... It makes the camera much better than stock camera app...
The updates are delayed because the basic software needs to be optimised according to the hardware, the ROM on a pixel device will vary if compared to the ROM on a zenfone or any stock andriod phone because the hardware on each is different... According to the ROM drivers needs to be designed and that takes time...

But stock android is very fast after all and the speaker is legit, the bass is real, some might not like this sound because they find it different after listening to their own phone with more small speaker with more treble. This phone was manufactured in Indonesia, sad and latest news 43 killed and many injured in tsunami at Indonesia(blessthem)

Gamers won't be happy with this phone , pubg default was medium setting and was set on balanced, i used gfx tool and well am not extremely happy with the performance as i expected from sd660 i know that's because it's underclocked, its just a little better than sd 636, am not sure yet if i am happy with this phone or not lol , camera is fine just average and turns out i don't like stock Android so much like i expected (this is my first stock android phone) i would prefer redmi phones os more to be honest, reason- no inbuilt setting for hiding notch or to show data speed on notification and most important no default app lock setting i mean those setting got nothing to do with stock android, now you have to do by downloading specific apps from playstore which generally comes with ads, stock android should have included those important setting instead of giving us facebook and instagram apps, the lack of those important setting really annoys me off and if stock android is so serious about bloatware why give facebook instagram and messenger which you can't uninstall, not everyone uses those if they think people will download applock and other apps for their need why give camera then,we w can download camera apps also, you know what, don't give nothing become the ultimate zero apps OS then lol, the more i think the stupider this OS becomes, and why January for pie give it right away if it's stock android, ( i am also paranoid about stock android,i think it spies on us )

Bought it last wednesday, impressed with endurance and temperature keep cool even when on and tethering. Only get hot while charging. If only the frame is metal would be nice.
UI kind of minimal and dont even have buuilt in memo and gallery. Camera is good. Quite a value phone it is.

got this phone a couple of days ago from shopee. getting full day battery from high amount of gaming using 4G + running hotspot. getting around 7hrs of SOT. and if anybody is interested, it can run honkai impact 3 in max settings, but only at around 40-50 fps. fps goes back to 60 if u turn off the PP in the setting

InternetUser, 21 Dec 2018What is name of sensor in AIDA64 / Thermal which reported 4... moreI just received the phone in evening and tested the hardware by hardware test apps, I was charging and using internet and some apps the phone battery reach 43 degree and only idle charging reach around 38 degree , after I charged it up 100% normal task like downloading and browsing were doing 32°c.....and for your question or info in thermal, it goes like emmc_therm, pa_therm0,pm660_tz, pm660l_tz, msm_therm, quiet_therm, xo_therm and then tsens_tz_sensor0 then 1 and 2 till 13 then bms, hope that helps, Let me know, I will be downloading pubg in few hour at night am worried about temperature but let's see, and as for the experience the phone feels very plastic I mean it in terms of build quality this phone is sure cheap, the notch is not optimised for some apps and the bottom curve of both corner of display is not exactly semicircle or smooth kind of turns around to make a curve and then a little edgy then curves again, it seems and looks cheap as if the glass was not cut properly but the quality of the display is great, colours looks good but in terms of brightness Redmi note 5 have more brightness and can go very dim, M2 screen not so bright and dim either, body is weak but the screen is gorilla 6 that actually makes sense I mean we care about breaking screen more when we drop it right, I recommend you to put less pressure on phone just be careful I wish atleast the frames were metal and well you get what you get you know cost cutting will be done somewhere atleast the speaker is very loud very very loud :D I will testing the quality at night though
