HUAHUA, 20 Dec 2018i used ok not issue heating I buy it yesterday.. really this phone have heating problem . During the WhatsApp video call it goes up to 49 degree Celsius.. Colors are over saturated on display. Sounds quality is very bad ..

mid to low phone only give company enough profit to survive, the reason xiaomi cheaper is lower quality, try drop same height with asus and you see my point

nogard, 20 Dec 2018price segment really? max pro m2. 6/64 higher price than 4/... morehonor 8x provides just a couple more antutu benchmark score so what ? the sd 660 on asus although its abit underclocked can run pubg hd fine (if you want more score u can go with honor play which is currently selling for very cheap almost around same price range) , honor 8x same as honor play have average quality display and poor speakers and m2 got better display not just physically which they do with gorilla 6 but also 94% NTSC colour gamut and screen contrast 1500:1 and far better sound with 5 magnet speaker, (very big reason for me to choose asus or i was gonna buy honor play ) and well what more, far better battery backup and stock android etc and in terms of design honor 8x does look better but good luck when you drop it, especially the back glass, if you are very serious with performance and a gamer and you can sacrifice sound and display quality abit then stop complaining about asus and just go with honor play before discount sale is over

To top up on my theory on WiFi, Youtube 1080p video and Netflix HD run perfectly smooth on 2.4Ghz WiFi, given the minimum 10mbps fiber internet as the internet source, and it is the same internet speed on 5Ghz WiFi (tested on 5Ghz supported phone with 433mbps WiFi speed connection).
5Ghz WiFi only needed on home media server streaming, but that also less stable than a cable connection with only 100mbps speed. All my devices including laptop that support 5Ghz WiFi cannot stream properly with video file larger than 10GB, but no problem when laptop and Bluray HTS stream thru Ethernet cable with 100mbps speed from my home NAS, of course 2.4Ghz WiFi bandwidth is way less, way less stable, but 5Ghz WiFi isn't that much stable either.

Technically, this phone only lack the 5Ghz WiFi support. Some may bitter on the lack of fast charging support for it's 5000mah battery, and also no NFC.
For WiFi, I found that no problem on this smartphone as the 2.4Ghz is more than enough, won't be issue with internet video streaming too, and far less issue with internet web browsing and other thing that involve internet. 5Ghz is only posssing problem on local server video streaming where people want to stream high quality video from their home DLNA server, which is quite not feasible where WiFi itself, even it is 5Ghz will be much less stable than streaming using cable. I found the old 100mbps Ethernet cable is the most stable connection for streaming (tested with Bluray HTS with WiFi and cable). Tested also with 5Ghz router, it is far less stable than a 100mbps cable given when it say my 5Ghz supported smartphone that get WiFi speed of 433mbps on WiFi is actually way slower and less stable in real life usage. No problem on low quality video or small compressed video file as these need much lower bandwidth (similar to Netflix streaming), but pose problem on both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz WiFi on video file that is over 10GB.

If that's the case the j7(2015) was also a super AMOLED phone... The A5s A7s A8s A9s all these phones ( the outdated versions) would have super AMOLED and on ebay with some offer would be available for 10-20k... Lets talk about the latest phones with good specs bro, the phones that are value for money...

And bringing something to the offline market requires money, the stores need to pay bills too... Xiaomi may not be the most value for money brand as of now, but I feel that the hike in price is justified

Xiaomi used same tactics of 1st better hardware, & 2nd Online exclusive making it "more at low cost". That is how it beat Motorola, Samsung & all orhers
So, when rule of game are same they why you are even defending "hiked prices" because of offline retairship etc
Regarding UI Xiaomi & others, Xiaomi become worst because of irritating forced advertisement everywhere from locks reen to apps. How UI of Xiomi is better when you pay for phone & get advertisement
Another point. Xiaomi is no more "more at low cost". Not only in price, but SD 660 on Zenphone max 2 pro & realme 2 pro etc are much more powerful & futureready than same old SD636
Yes, success has gone into head of Xiaomi. They are running huge negative campaign against other companies whoever is offering better product.
Xiaomi is even blocking any YouTube blogger who is pointing out you are paying Xiaomi & then get "forced irritating adds"
It is like "TV keep showing adds, even when you switched of the screen"
