Anonymous, 12 Dec 2018What?????? What do you mean by gurantee And xiaomi is f... moreXiaomi only give MIUI update to all their device and NOT all of them will get SECURITY PATCH and ANDROID VERSION updates only few of them will get it. The high end Mi series like Mi 8 get 2 Android version updates and 3 years security patch bundle with MIUI updates. The midrange like Mi Max series and Redmi Note series only get 1 Android version updates and 2 years of security patch bundles with MIUI. The lower end like Redmi 3/4/5/6A only get MIUI updates without security patch and of cause no Android version updates. MIUI updates if not bundles with security patch or Android version update is an updates for Xiaomi Device User Interface Skin. A lot of people are confusing with Xiaomi MIUI updates scheme because of Xiaomi provide MIUI updates to all their device even the very old one(back to 2013 device) it doesnt mean they contiounusly give security patch or Android version to all their device. MIUI updates are not apply to Xiaomi Android One series like MiA1, MiA2 and MiA2 Lite, this types get different updates from MIUI devices. I believe U too must be confusing with the Xiaomi MIUI updates schemes.
