I used this phone for 4 months. I using it for my business. I received a hundred message whatsapp and sms in one day. And this phone get to hang. Frequently need open whatsapp in 2 minutes and still whatsapp it's not responding. So I think, this phone need to upgrade the chipset and memory RAM.

Zam, 12 Aug 2016Actually you need to stop all auto start apps.Just go to au... moreBro can u tell me how to use battery saver mode in which background data would get disabled and we no longer get notifications for whatsapp or hike .There is a power saving mode but our data connection get disabled if we switch on that mode. Like other phones there is simple option available in batter saver to block background notifications when we r using internet unless we open specific app we dont get notification...pls help

Been using this phone forbover 3 months now.i ll review in prons and cons
prons....
1. Great battery...
moderate users = 2-3 days
heavy users = 1 -1.5 days
2. Good set of camers.
Not the best....but good enough
3. The screen got Gorilla glass 4 protection
4. Very easy and user friendly UI
5. Good voice quality
6. Good processor...can play moderate level games lag free.
Cons....
1. Too many pre installed applications
2. Heavy weight
3. Update to marshmallow is not bugs free
Overall performace is very decent and most of the users will b happy after using this phone. This phone definately delivers a good overall performance and user experience.

Dont buy asus phones after updating software it restart problem.
if you press restart button only asus logo appears and continous rotating to set the problem mother board has to be change after 35 days of purchase i face this problem and phone become useless
my sincere request dont buy go for branded phones

hi mr yogi ur qetion is how to set contact photo....so u r click any pic and u see right sided corner 3 dots just touch it then showing below option there set as contact pic ...and so many option there avilable..

Hi,
I bought Asus Zenfone Max with 32GB ROM and 2 GB RAM 2 days back. Android version: 6.0.1 and software: WW_8939_13.8.26.36_20160624. I have charged it for 8 hours on 1st charge.
I have kept it in Power Saving Mode, Screen brightness set to level 0, Recent Apps are closed, Auto-start Manager is On. I have used the phone for 5 minutes with 3G ON and battery level dropped from 100% to 96%. The battery drops by 2% even when phone is kept idle (screen off, cellular data off) and phone heats up.
I have not received any calls. Not played music and videos. Have not played games. Have just used facebook, watsapp and twitter. And the battery lasted for approximately 2 days. I had charged it to 100% on 10th August at 8am and it drained to 10% on 11th August at 9pm.
Is the battery draining quickly? Is it normal or there is battery issue? I have read in some of the reviews that the battery lasts for 3 to 4 days for the average usage. But my Asus Zenfone Max lasted for 36 hours for average usage.

I was using the clean master, it was already downloaded in my phone when i bought it. I was using the junk files but then it completely hanged. I can't press anything. Even the buttons at the side. What do i do?

Have use this brand before its good but the thing is that there are so many applications that cant never be used, hope Asus can lessen the application installed in their mobiles....
