asus zenfone max runs with a decent performance ............... the drawback is that it has more weight than other android mobiles.......otherwise the mobile is good to use........i have updated manually this mobile to android marshmallow

This is my review of the Zenfone Max. It's performance is quite remarkable, I have installed a whole lot of social apps some of which are quite heavy while they are running in the background response speed only slows down by a tiny bit and if I add Games to it the game still responds quite well.
Battery power in my usage, I usually charge it after 1 or 2 days. If I never used my phone my phone would really last around 2 to 4 days.
I'm uncomfortable with the size being that it's 5.5 inches, using it with one hand is quite difficult. One hand mode helps but not by much.
I dropped the phone a couple of times, like twice now. Dents can easily happen on the edges of the phone but damages on the screen not so much. I do have one small scratch though on the screen, who knows what scratched it, it can't be seen though, and can't be felt as well but if you take a close look at it, it'll show.
I rate this a 4/5 for your money.

i bought this phone after having an iphone for years, and then switching to an htc one m8, which was terrible. this phone is amazing.
-everything is customization and comes with the phone stock because of asus apps
-nice quality, and leather back makes it so that a case isnt a huge deal
-looks nice
-feels nice and hefty, like it wont break after you drop it, or that it was made cheaply.
-apps run while you pull down the notifcations menu. rly nice for when you accidentally open them so that you dont screw up what your app is doing
-apps dont get in the way. even on my htc one m8 some apps were in the way while you were doing other stuff
-music app pre-installed is nice
-lots of customization with the widgets
-flashlight without having to unlock the phone
-huge battery life
-on button is on the side, so not very likely to press on it's own
-home, back, and multitask buttons that come on all androids are on the actual phone instead of in the ui. this may not seem like a big deal, but it is, because it not only makes the screen bigger, but they also dont get in the way, and you can use them whenever you want as opposed to trying to open them on a regular android like an htc one m8
-no other phone has such a great value for it's ram and battery life. i searched, but even the blu studio energy with it's massive battery life cant compete with this phone's ram, value, and name. asus is a great brand

Just download loud ringtone app from google play store and resolve ring tone volume issue.
