basta, 17 Mar 2016Hi FAN, I am just about to install new firmware. I found a... moreCorrect, there is a new update available also when you check version. The update is from march 2016. But its timestamp signature says 20160224. And yes, this update is better than all previous updates, including december 2015. Please move to the March 2016 update, 20160224.

My tablet will not come on. It starts to boot up and load but then nothing happens, just goes dark. What do i do??

Within first two weeks, for a brand new ZenPad out of the box, you should expect google Android to behave very busy. Since it keeps updating applications. While android is updating you may feel some lag. This lag will go away within a few weeks privided that you keep updating android. Most updates are automatic. Do not block android updates, simply let them finish. Once all updates are done, your experience will be much better. This post written using ZenPad c 7.0.

I am just about to install new firmware. I found a new update,newer than "FAN" is talking about,it's from the Mart 4th 2016. I would like if "FAN" tell me, is it beter this new one update,(what is logical for me) or i must install the update from December.... Please, if you read the this, tell me what to do... And, i found the update from the oder way, not from checking for new update from setings-about-checking updates, that way it wouldn't give me nothing.

fan, 01 Mar 2016Disconnect charger, then press the power button for 12 sec.... moreThis did not work, what type of Asus Zenpad do you have!? mine did not vibrate nor reset, the Wifi still shows an authentication error when attempting to connect.

I really trust the wrong person------fan.......I spend money to buy this c7 and after two weeks, I found that is even worse than my samsung note 1; the performance speed is slow, switch between apps slow, wake up slow.....I cant really find a single thing that is fast. And for fan, please dont tell me upgrade to the latest firmware as i did it 20160224....i should go for samsung....

Please help me my asus zenpad can't connect with wifi. I've reset, boot and try to on/off the wifi button but it didn't work. There's no problem with the wifi connection. Your suggestions will highly be appreciated.

That is the problem with Asus phone. If you are lucky you get the good one, but sometimes we are not lucky, we got the set thats always hang. I got my first Asus Zenfone 5, then it always hang, I gave it to my niece. She keep on complaining. However, to replace that I got an Asus Zenfone 6, used for the past 2 years, seems ok. Then I bought another Asus Zenpad C7.0, however, a day used, my niece grumble because it always hang. The vendor refused to change, though hardly used a day, however, send for repair, now it seems ok. Hope Asus will improve the quality of its goods in order to tab the huge market around the world. The price is attractive, put with little punch it can even compete with Samsung. So far I am satisfied. Looking forward to get the Zenfone 2 deluxe for myself, but still trauma with the Zenfone 5 and the Zenpad C7.0 from my niece. Should i go ahead?

I too am very disappointed with this tablet, it is not fit for purpose and all I use it for is emails and internet browsing. I have updated it to latest version and the screen still regularly becomes unresponsive and has to be turned off/on. The tablet also turns itself off at random. The battery capacity is very poor. It was full charged yesterday, used for about half an hour and then inadvertently left on stand by overnight. This morning the battery is again totally flat.
