but regarding the restart lagging issue on other reason, is already fixed by the previous update? or still have the same issues? and regarding the c 7 and 7. any big difference in performance? having 1gb and 2gb on the other? still deciding as what to buy because c 7 is dual sim yet 1gb ram while on the other hand 7 is single sim yet 2gb ram but the prices have big differences here in the Philippines. any suggestion? priority is the restart lagging issues.

Last time I checked in SuperCell site forums about clash of clans bugs, there were no such fixes available, only some suggested workarounds which did not work for most users over various brands of tablets and phone pads models.

just gonna ask if the restarting issue regarding clash of clans have been fix already. I'm planning to buy zenpad 7 the 2gb ram model. as I will use it abroad. is it already fix in the latest update Sept 2015?

Please do update the system to latest Sep.4 2015 release, and also allow for a day or two for android lollipop to stablizize. Android lollipop fresh out of the box usually requires many updates,while android is updating you may feel some lag. This lag will eliminate once android is done updating. As said before, you are clever to do the multiple system updates. It will benefit you greatly.

Yeah I feel you guys on this one. I purchased this item at Frys Electronics because the display model was very snappy and smooth. When I came home and started to use it fresh out of the box there was a considerable amount of lag. I'm currently doing multiple software updates and I'll see from there. I got what i paid for.....but i'll end up returning it if the issue is still consistent.

Go to settings, about, version info. If your version is not from Sep. 4, 2015, then You must start system update of the device. In this case, go to settings, about, system update. Then start update check. ILet the system update download and also allow it to install. It may take around 15 min, including reboot, system upgrade and a new bootstrap,so be patient. Note that there were 4 updates pushed by ASUS recently, so you may need to repeat the process 4 times. Please be patient.It will greatly improve your user experience.

really disappointed with this tablet. i just received yesterday, and haven't tried for 30mins, and this tablet cannot use at all.
how come a brand new mobile device can perform like this?

sry but i only used it for 2 days and it hangged at menu after i entered the password. such a big dissapointment for this pad.

My ZenPad was performed really badly because it could not even handle the casual game such as piano tiles 2 and subway surf.....it was extremely lag....I'm so disappointed with it...what can I do to improve my ZenPad performance??? Thanks in advance...

messaging took long, 08 Sep 2015Hi, I'm using asus fonepad 7 P0Y1 and I'm having trouble... moreover my device I sent many 3G TXT messages and all are successful. Are you on latest version? In some cases TXT messages May fail on certain cellular provider when you switch a device.

Plase note that there is a new ASUS auto FOTA update. After updating make sure that the settings,about,version info, has Sep. 4, 2015 as its date. With latest update the user experience is superb.

Hi,
I'm using asus fonepad 7 P0Y1 and I'm having trouble with messaging. It took 5 attempts before it send. We don't have any signal issues with the network and I tried to forced stop the app, restart the device, plug and unplug the sim card, it will work for few text messages and eventually go back to the same issues. II'm not saying that the device won't let me send messages but it took really long before it send,

myExperience, 07 Sep 2015we purchased this pad but on the following day of using it ... moreThere were 3 updates to zenpad c 7.0. You must download all 3 updates, and let all 3 to install. Installing a single update is not enough. Make sure that the last update is from August 19, 2015.

we purchased this pad but on the following day of using it we experienced the auto-shutdown issue plus immense lagging when i played piano tiles 2; i was thinking that it was because of outdated firmware but i remembered that when it was connected over the internet it automatically updated the system (if you are experiencing issues try to look if the firmware is updated, check on their website; for this one it is: https://www.asus.com/Tablets/ASUS_ZenPad_C_70_Z170C/HelpDesk_Download/ ). We sought the help of the retailer store where we bought it, thankfully they have replaced the pad with another unit but another brand (though i like this one already).

A few words about power button. Please note that there is no problem with the power button in the ZenPad z170cg. Some users are not familiar with the default behaviour of the power button in android lollipop 5.0.2. In order to power on the device you need to use a long press on the power button, and 3 second, until you feel a vibrate. Then let go and the device will bootstrap. In order to force shutdown of the device use a long press of over 12 seconds. In some cases if the device screen is black due to buggy applications (such as clash of clan which is buggy over lollipop), you need to first long press over 12 seconds, then let go, the long press for 3 seconds until you feel a vibrate. Try it.

Please post your complain... moreI agree to your comment that the system hangs when attacking an oponent when I opt to go home in my COC this hets the same rsult. I just quit the game. I used to have intermittent mobile signal but this was gone when I had my laat update. The tab also drains fast.
