Backbone One - PlayStation Edition now available for Android smartphones

Backbone One is an officially licensed controller accessory for smartphones that launched a PlayStation Edition last year for the iPhone. Now, the same accessory is also available for Android smartphones.

The Android version of Backbone One - PlayStation Edition has the same basic design and layout as the iPhone version. You get the classic white and black design along with face buttons that matches the DualSense controller for the PlayStation 5, although the joystick layout is different. You get buttons for menus and screenshots as well as for launching the Backbone app.

The controller runs off the phone's battery but feature a USB passthrough for charging the phone while connected. There is also a headphone jack for plugging in wired headphones.

The controller works for native Android and iOS games as well as for playing PlayStation 4 and 5 games through Remote Play. The Backbone app helps bring all of this content together in one place along with offering additional perks, such as 1-month Google Play Pass for Android or 1-month Apple Arcade for iPhone, along with 3 months of Discord Nitro.

The Backbone One - PlayStation Edition for Android is priced at the same $99.99 as the iPhone version.

What are you talking about? you aren't making sense

I would prefer using the original controller connected to the phone.no extra investment necessary.

They make clips to attach your phone to your controller. playing it with the controller and a clip is not only cheaper, but its also much more comfortable since your head is at a more upward angle.
