    I have warranty for my Benq p50, i was trying to contact them for a Firmware upgrade 1.15, no results, i also couldnt find online anywhere. To help improve benq I think if someone has the firmware can share it.

      Hi Fellow P50 owners,
      I think we need to get together and do something about the 1.15 version, has anyone installed the 1.15 and if so in which market/city & which dealer and has it really fixed the charge prob, i bought my p50 1 yr back from Dubai and really love it sans the Battery Charge issue.

        you can use any mini usb car charger to give your batt a charge in the car.
        and new Ebay 2400 mh batt Rocks for Benq P50.

          I have the VER 1.12 it works better then old one if any one needs it email me and we will find a way to send to you. also I could use some help with the new Battery I got from
          E-bay it is the Shissit 3 days with out recharging it on regular phone usage, only issue phone thinks its the old one and trys to shut off the phone to save settings.

            Help with the mini-earphone jack. Does anyone happen to use an adapter that actually works on BenQ P50... because I tried these gold ones and the sound still came out from the loudspeaker. So whats the problem?

              You could if the P50 had enough memory. I don't think it has enough to run WM5. That would be sweet though.

                  Is the Chinese 1.14 ROM better than the English 1.12 ROM? If so, can I install a English language pack or something on top of the Chinese 1.14 ROM?

                  Us P50 users gotta stick together. :) It's a great phone. The hardware and form factor are spot on. It's the brains that need an upgrade which is easily accomplished by a ROM UPDATE BENQ!!! We know you have it now give it up. Somebody, anybody, please help us.

                    Yes, my P50 phone also shuts off way too early. It's annoying. I heard the 1.15 Eng ROM fixes this. C'MON BENQ SHOW US SOME LOVE AND GIVE US A LINK.

                      Tell my plz, what happend? My BenQ is off Phone option, when my battery status is 30 %, and wi-fi off when battery 45-47 %, it's not luckky use whis phone! Help me !!

                        You are correct. The 1.14 is the Chinese version firmware. I have previusly try it.

                          I got the English 1.12 and I think the Chinese 1.14. I'm pretty sure it's the chinese one but no 100%. If anyone wants to "test" it out. And let us know that would be sweet. Also I have something for the P50 called CB_ONOFF. Not sure what it does but I got it. And some other P50 software. Check it out.

                              Ive had the P50 for 6 monthes. It works great. Cant compare to a Pocket PC but am happy wit it. Sturdy little fellow too. Fell off my car at 60 mph and still works perfectly. I would like to update my software. Or add to it. How?

                                i have just use the benq for a week, and realize my firmware are still 1.07, can anyone give me the site to get the new firmware.. the website www.smartbenq.com is already closed :-(. pls send me the new firmware, or at least the 1.12 version.
                                here in my country, they don't have a support office

                                  Ok thanks for the answer. Is there any way to use other photo or picture as backraound?. I would not like to use just the three backgrounds that the phone has...Does any one know.?

                                    Dude reseting 3 times in 3 months is great. One reset a month. You should be lucky. With WINMO devices that is considered good stability.

                                      Can anybody help me?. I have the P50 and it has been reset it by itself three times now since I bought 3 months ago. I thought is because I have my contacts in the phones memory. Should I have the contacts' info in the phone SIM card?, is it other the reason why it is reseting by itself?

                                        can anyone help me out? i cant seem to recieve files using bluetooth...everytime someone sends me a file using bluetooth its always message sending failed on their part?
