yes you can use your phone as a recorder as long as you make sure you have a real big SD card, min 1 or 2 gb, start->programs->notes ->tools->options -> Save To Storage Card

Which language you intend to change to? If it is English, you can update your firmware to 1.12 which is a English OS. You may download from this site. http://www.cooba.org/mp/P50/ROM/EN/

it seem relay strange but the biggest bug i found on my Benq was its ability not to turn on. from times to times, it just don't starts when i push the start button... (it happened to me even just a few hours after charging). When I try to charge an orange light is displayed and it just starts as by magic or hard-reset latter. Does anyone have the same problem? how can I solve it?

I dont think you can the phone language to english unless you re-install your phone with english firmware. BTW your current firware in your phone? As for the manual, I can sent you a copy.

hi, i just bought this phone but the user manual and the phone come in chinese. Does anyone know hoy to change the settings to Englich? I appreciate the help.

This rom can be used if somebody hack this to work with drivers from 2003 se prem at v1.12 , telling this because the rom upgrades are model specific, Regards!!

doesn´t work, i try it like 5 times and doesn´t write on the flash rom, maybe i was doing something incorrect, to download the file check what you copy and paste the "r" at the end move´s one space, delete that space and the link works, if anyone try it please post any info

Sorry not a hoax as it states P51... But still P50 doesn't have enought memory. Not sure what would happen if you tried upgrading it...

I couldn't get that link to work. Someone on this board mentioned that the P50 doesn't have enough memory to run WM5 so I'm thinking that might be a hoax. Post another link please.
