I am using 660C for more than an year. Its really a sexy mobile. It turns everybodies head. I have not faced much problems with it except that the cell sometimes does not receive call inspite of being active. The caller on the other hand receives a message that the cell is switched off. well after reinstalling the software i did not face the problem but still once in a blue moon it does happen again. Battery back up give me three days at a go (good enough).

I am using S660C since, this is a first mobile i am using and be to be very informative but some time i face the mobile hangs up and i cant make out hat is the problem and the mobile dos'nt take any incomming calls or a incomming call ringtons but the incomming calls stores in miss call dosent know what is the problem and in case of emergence if i am not able to attend the call what is the use of mobile. please guide me a right solution.

I actually don't mind this phone, however, I do have some problems receiving texts. It can sometimes be hours or days later when I receive the text in. It's not fun when you are making plans trust me. My most recent problem is that somehow the ringer has turned off and I can not figure out how to turn it back on. Does anyone know how to turn it off of silent mode? I have tried all my settings and this doesn't seem to work. Help please!!

i have been using BenQ S660C for an year.recently,i am facing problems like phone restarts automatically after a wile,and now i am not able to even switch on the phone.I have been looking for BenQ service center in Bangalore for more than 2 weeks but could not find one.so if any one knows where BenQ servicing is done in Banglore Please Let me Know.

I bought this model and had it with me for quite sometime. Things i liked about the phone:
- lovely features
- ease of operation
- colour

and now the major problems i faced with the phone:
- the phone just goes into a coma (it hangs)...this happened many many times. I could receive the signal and all other features would work, however I couldnt receive/make any calls or texts!!! In times of need ppl could not reach me as the calls went directly to my voicemail. I on the other hand never suspected that the phone was not working. Only if i restarted the phone would it work. Believe me it became a routine everyday!

This is a MAJOR flaw in the phone. Whats the use of a mobile when it does not make/take calls???

- The battery life is pathetic. Even with the least usage it hardly lasts a day. I had to charge it every day without fail.

I had paid more than £120 for it and found it frustrating that I could not return it (was traveling). I couldnt wait to change this phone and I dont think I will ever buy or recommend a Benq to anyone. I wish the company wakes up and takes notice of these flaws.

Design is good. Handling is easy. but the reception is too bad. Can't speak while riding two wheelers. No authorised service centre available near by. One drop of rain water made my hand set non fuctioning. the website has not given enough info about the service centres in India unlike NOKIA. Took 3 weeks to locate the service centre in Bangalore.

I am using this phone for the past 14 months. 3 known problems in this model is Battery and Signal reception. Battery - Dies very fast (1 day) and takes 2 hrs to charge the battery fully. Signal - When one is on the move in vehicle, it is very sad. Lastly, integration with mic and speaker you will be able to hear what you speak with the other person when you are moving in traffic or just before hearing the ring tone.
But handy to use.

hi all

well, as far as design is concerned it is really sexy but in other areas such as performance and reliability phone of BenQ really, really fails miserably and disappoints one to the extent that i feel like dumping it off, so ANYONE THINKIN OF BUYING BenQ in India, plz THINK TWICE.......Because IT IS NOT WORTH IT..

Is there any software available out there to transfer ringtones, wallpapers that can be created by me to the benq s660c using com1 & a data cable connected to pc

Any help would be appreciated!

i got a benq s660c for a present but can"t get wap settings on my phone.my network subsciber does not have the settings.can someone send manual wap settings to me.

A lot of the time, My phone shows that there is either No Servive or Limited Srevice, even when I'm standing outside. I am getting a lottle annoyed at this problem, when I want to text or call people from my phone

Hi All,

I won a BenQ S660C. Since a yar Ihave faced no problems. However, now for this mobile there is a problem in catching up with the signal. The mobile is not catching up with the siganl. When given for servicing it was bought to the notice that it is an issue with teh software and the same needs to be re-installed.
I would be grateful if anyone lets me know any service centers at Bangalore or Hyderabad so that I can get my mobile back to normal.

Sir,my BenQ set MODEL NO. S630i purchased dated 26.05.2004 from Trichy branch, is giving problem regarding Battery. The Battery is not available with the Dealers at South Delhi.
