Emmanuel, try to remove the battery and insert it again...it worked for me,it was just a short contact.Otherwise, try to change the firmware.

I really enjoyed using my Benq siemens el71 phone but unfortunately the battery does last for two days, unfortunately for me i charged the battery over night thinking it will work this morning i tried to switch it on and it will not stay on,what could be the problem. Pls help me

i really enjoyed using benq siemens el71 phone, but my only problem with it is the battery it doesn't last for two days and until today i switch it on and it doesn't stay on, what could be the problem.

yes, its true. the battery is not that good. i can only use it for a short time. god! what a waste of money. i cant even use it in the philippines since it is programed in chinese. cant use my mms. what shall i do. throw it away?

Guys, I do not know what's up with you and this phone, but probably I am very lucky because this Benq works really perfectly. Battery lasts 3-4 days (5 sms per day, 20 min calls per day, 1h mp3 per day). However, you can find a battery for 10€ on ebay. Try to upgrade the firmware if it always turns off.

DON'T BUY THIS PHONE!!
From the first day on, the battery lasts only one day. Everywhere I go I take the recharger with me...

i just got this phone 2 weeks ago and the battery is completely dead and the battery life lasts 1 day only..

this is the worst phone i have ever owned. the software is not user friendly and most of all the battery is completely dead and the phone wont turn on anymore.

Sorry to say though GSM Arena mentioned that it has FM Radio but infact it has no radio function. Still it has an outstaning camera and Mp3 quality. Really the mobile is damn cool..!!!

You know, all this crash problems are to arise due to resofting the phones by major companies like orange, vodafone, t mobile, cingular etc. The phone is good, but the software is just...nasty :D

the battery just sucks. i am disappointed. the fone freezes for no reasonable cause then more irritating, is the fact that it would at times keep just swich itself off as you try switching it on time and again. I wish to advise the makers to also improve on its looks coz within no time the fone looks very old

This phone is a gigantic piece of C R A P!!!
Keeps freezing all the time, then turns it self off -
turns on then back off again. takes loads of times before it actually works right.
battery life lasts 1 day only..
freezes when half way through texting.
Sends my text messages straight to inbox without showing i have a message on beeping when get a text.
Not a lot of memory either
as i said a C R A P phone avoid at all costs.

Well i bought this phone just 3weeks ago and now it has just seized working.Can`t no longer come on neither on charge or manually. I really don`t get it and it seems am not the only one complaining about this problem. yet the siemens company is doing nothing about that. i will like to have an insight of what has to be done coz i can`t buy a phone just 3 weeks ago and yet can use it any longer. COME TO MY RESCUE.

i live in estonia and i bougt that phone too, but the battary is so weak, i must recharge it every single day! it' s sucks!!
but phone himself is good!
