I have an S88, and i'm very satisfied with it.

more Cheaper than K750, greater display, nice photos (not a cyber-shot, but..), great battery life, nice sound quality... good phone. And to mention about originality, no brand have rights about bar, slide, or clamshell or flip or hell design...

            I like BenQ-Siemens a lot!

siemens SL10 was the world's first slider fone in 1999.no company copies any thing its just technology that passes from one company to another.

hmm, compare with k750i,both also 2mega pixel auto focus camera mp3 phone, but, too bad, siemens s88 lose to k750i because of the colour, the photo that taken by s88 is too bright, not very balance..n the benq siemens build in memory is lose to k750i.n when u want to receive music u have to transfer to computer first than transfer it to your s88.thats the bad point.but the mp3 quality is better than k750i,n benq siemens mp3 equalizer is more better than k750i.more choises n more pure..k750i only have the famous "MegaBass",but S88 bass more powerful!

to bllllllaaaahhhhhhh so u should just know that nokia was the first cell fone company to make a slider which was actually released in 1997 and siemens slider was in 2003 so dont say nokia and se copy the slider cuz this phone lokks xzactly like the n70 and n72 in the front and exactly like a sc in the bak

It looked and functions quite similar to Se K750 but I'm sure K750 should be better for its renowed 2 megapixels camera so far on the market.

it's a great one exactly, but i'm sure that it's too slow (if we compare with 6230i/6233/K750i).

The Speaker is excellent, without noise and flicker at maximum volume. But the conversation volume is too low. How can modificate it?

I have been using this S88 for about 4 weeks, and I am becoming annoyed by the slowness of its menu navigation and respones. I don't think I want to keep this phone much longer, unless ofcourse BenQSiemens release firmware update to make this 'almost' solid hp become a real solid one. Small things does not bother me, but many small annoying things are really painful, especially in rush time when I need my cellphone to work fast.

Plus: 2m pixel with many options including 16x digital zoom, microSD, nice Mp3 player, video file 3gp using 3party tools can be converted to avi/wmv, midi/mp3 ringtone, good speaker phone, reasonable battery life, powersaving mode, voice memo, privacy manager, password protected folder, simple pc connection

Minus: Slow shutter, slow response, joystick a bit hard, no voice command, limited msg tone, usefuless voice-tag, many times failed using camera with night scene, glitches sound when changing to other song when playing mp3, my friends complaining about feedback sounds when talking to me using hands-free, mp3 player stop when there is incoming sms or call, but after finish with call/sms the music starts over from beginning.
