Black Shark 2 Pro visits Geekbench revealing key specs
An unknown Black Shark device, said to be the Black Shark 2 Pro arriving on July 30, has passed through Geekbench. It scored 3,632 and 11,304 points in the benchmark's single and multi-core tests respectively, while revealing its key specs like 12GB RAM and Android Pie.
The processor in the listing is "msmnile" a code-name shared by the Snapdragon 855 SoC and the Snapdragon 855+ announced earlier this week. The Black Shark 2 Pro is expected to come with the Snapdragon 855+, putting it on par with the upcoming ROG II phone and the expected nubia Red Magic 3 refresh.
The Snapdragon 855+ is an overclocked version of the 855 promising 4.2% improvement in CPU and 15% improvement in GPU performances.
It's currently unclear if an updated chipset is the only thing the Black Shark 2 Pro will bring, or if we are looking at some other upgrades as well.
