This phone has many problems. The major problem is a battery. it drains too quickly and this phone is nothing but a rubbish.
I have been using it for 2 months and i regret that day when i bought this crap.

bb97200 has alot of problems, mine is dat if am charging it and operating it at thesame time, it will switch off by itself, d batery is too poor, d charging point spoils easily, d fone isnt strong at all.

What everybody must know is that all old Blackberries, eg: curve, bold, and torch models are all using BIS data plan except the Blackberry 10 models and the newest Android Blackberries which they use the normal data plan.

And most of the times my fone prompted me to reboot. Had 2 units for me and my husband and his was not working anymore, after it was battery empty the unit never turns on anymore. I love blackberry ever since and i should say i got some units to where i had my very first salary. I just wanted to ask maybe someone could answer my question why does these things happening? Does charging affects the unit for not functioning well?

For me, Blackb... moreAm a fan of Blackberry's from whichever ever angle (ℓ☺ℓ) have been using them for years (all smallscreen type) 8520 \9320\now 9720 .. Have never had problems with any of my fones ? I think its the way people use them .. My grandchildren(and my children for that matter) have gone thru them like sweets .. ? Broken \charging problems \switching off problems \pin problems ?? I can never understand this ? A Smart Phone is an intricate expensive item and requires a little love, tenderness and respect ? Don't charge your fone (charger plugged into the juice and zapp your fone in on the other end ? That's a live connection point you are jamming your phone into? Always make sure you plug the charger pin into your fone first then connect the other end to the electricity and switch on .. When removing your charger pin from the fone .. Do it carefully .. Ease it out of the connection point don't just yank ? ..The switching off issue ? Have no idea why .. The 9720 does come with a "feature" its part of the functionality of the fone .. The "application resource monitor" .. Make use of the feature ..when it tells you 'your fone is low on juice .. Do u want to shut it down !! Do so ? That's what the function is there for .. Restart and away u go again :) And as far as "updates" !! Do so .. Update!! Never mind if you don't use the icon (app) it all helps to keep your fone 'ticking over correctly '.. just UPDATE the APP! It's updating for a reason ' ..to ensure your fone is always at optimum level (all updates need to be on par with each other as and when to ensure everything is working properly.. When the updates arrive something has a 'new feature' or 'fix or wotever .. And as far leaving your "fone" on the "charger all night ? Well that's not "on" .. The fone is not meant to be 'charging for hours and hours .. Well that's my blurb on "my blackberry's " thank you very much .. Wudn't change MY blackberry's for any other brand :) My experience with Blacberry's has been good.. They are solid fones and can fix themselves (as I have done on the odd occassion) just some tender love\ care\ and respect .. (But then that's as it should be for an modern item these days .. Nothing is built to "last" like it "in the good old days" :) ..and by the way with kids and grandkids all over the globe - I MAKE USE of my fones (facebook \whatsapp\emails\internet) there ain't anything I don't use!!.. and "nothin" I "don't google" (ℓ☺ℓ)

I replaced my 9320 with the 9720 and I wouldn't recommend the 9720 to anyone. The screen continually turns off. The browser is very slow and is always closing unexpectedly. Apart from the larger screen, I hate it and wish I'd saved my money and stuck with my 9320.

Crappy phone I tell you.the battery sucks and it switches off on its own.The internet is slow and it also disconnects on its own.

I got mine at a cheap price n I got it coz I missed the unlimited downloads on my 9320. The browser is the only thing that works on my nerves at times. The 9320 was better at browsing. Any tricks on how to improve it?
