cerafine, 31 Jan 2009hi guys.. i just bought my bold for 2 days. i was having a ... moreOK, I'm not sure if this also applies to the Bold, but for the BB Flip 8220, apparently you need to go into Options/Advanced Options/Browser, and change the default browser configuration from the phone's service provider to "Hotspot Browser".

I have my 1:st Blackberry, I´m veerry pleased with it, the best phone I¨ve had for long and I´ve almost tested them all, like the Nokia E90,Sony Ericsson X1 ans the HTC touch Diamond, this si sby far the best one .

hi guys.. i just bought my bold for 2 days. i was having a problem with the WIFI, i tried to connect to my own WLAN connection at my home but always failed. At the same time i also connect my nokia e71 and the connection was established. my friends told me that i have to upgrade my BB version, mine was 4.6.0.185
So, does anyone know how to solve this problem? i really hope someone could me, thanks anyway.

its a good phone my first berry, most people have problemes with the battery because the phones 3g and if ur awlays on it the battery would last u a day..all in all good phone

Guys I have bold from at&t and i cant change it to 2g, my friends who have bold from vodaphone can switch it to 2g by just going to mobile network option. Any help how to switch to 2g if mine from at&t?

GH, 26 Jan 2009this has the worst battery out of any phone i have ever usedChange to 2G on your BB Bold. This would greatly improve your battery life.

Guys,
For better battery life on BB Bold, switch to 2G. This makes littke difference to your operations but immensely improves battery life.

Hi to everybody! i have had a BB bold 9000 now for 4 months and i think its the best phone i have ever had! I am self employed and work in construction,fabrication,my phones don't last long and get dropped,banged,clattered etc, my BB has marks and dints but work perfectly,plus the email and gps is great no probs at all! iphones are stone aged compared!! try one you be suprised!

Which blackberry is better the bold or the new curve 8900. I want to know which phone is the best bang for you $$$$$. The Advantages and Disadvantages of picking this phone or picking the new Curve 8900. I have the new curve 8900 already, but thinking of returning it for the bold. Thanks.

battery life is ok when i just make calls but surfing the web and watching videos, it goes within hours...

always down and out after a few calls
considering the fact that blackberry users ate to be on the phone a lot longer than conventional mobiles....this doesnt even cut the grade

I've heard from friends that they haev had problems recieving emails/texts with blank periods of reception. also that they break easily? Has anyone had the same issues?

This is probably the best BB ever. I just got one. The battery is just fine to whoevers is out there and dissing it. great phone, huge screen, browser not great but honestly its a BB not a computer so shut up.

Would it then be accurate to say that if you never, or rarely, stream video, you may as well get the non-3G 8900 Curve, and get a better camera in the deal?
