Booyo, 07 Dec 2008Hi! I have BBB9k and it seems that I'll have to buy viwers ... moreI'm guessing the full version of docs to go would be best. It costs around 69.95 or somewhere there though, that's the only issue, but people that use it seem to love it.

I too thought that you could not open PDF and then in the process of setting up my bold i registered by Word to go (under applications) and this registration process opened the pdf viewer and i could instantly view pdfs aswell... no other programs needed and it worked a treat. (To clarify it does not open it in word, but the registration process activated the pdf viewer)

I am looking at purchasing this handset and I have just one question; is there an option in BlackBerry® Desktop Software that allows you to compress audio files, similar to the way that Nokia PC Suites does when transferring audio files to a Nokia handset?

Don do biz w/ Tmobile - theyre buttheads. Bust a payment by a day or two an they kick yer teeth with a late charge that they wont waive. Go w/at&t or anybody else!

i bought 2 of these for my business as i needed wifi as well as the email functionality.

the first 2 handsets did not receive pdf documents via email other then in plain text format, something to do with the firmwre version. so i got these replaced and even though the firmware version is the same the pdf docs open... i will endeavour to upgrade at some point.

the deisgn is very sleek and althought slightly larger then the curve is definitely alot more user friendly in its windows software.

not had a problem with battery life, so far last over 2 days will full use of emails all day long and the blackberry chat service.

8/10 so far might give it 9 if the firmware solves the pdf issue. but at mo we send emails in rich or plain format which works.
