I still have not decided either to buy this or Nokia E71. The only issue I have with Nokia is that they keys are too small.

Ok just got my first ever blackberry and just getting use... moreOk, depending on your network provider and where you got the BB from, you may have a SAT NAV application on the phone.
I had an issue with my BB where when trying to view maps diagnol lines go accross the screen. All you need to do is stand outside for a few minutes and let the phone retreive a GPS signal once it has done this for the first time it should be fine downloading the maps. If this doesn't work then I suggest contacting your network provider and they will be able to assist you further with the settings.
Hope this helps.

BlackBerry Bold apparently does not work quite well with Google maps when loaded on its on-board browser. Has anyone been successful since started playing with this?

I'm using it for the last 3 weeks. I'm a blackberry lover and using them for the last 4 years.
After using this new Bold 9000, I can personally say that it's the best BB handset I have ever used.

Excellent phone, Be careful Europen version comes with qwertz keyboard and qwerty. Add office (word,xl,etc..) FM radio could have been an included...Great buy..
