          Hey all

I'm not new to blackberries but it would be amazing if you guys could help me out

I have a blackberry bold 9700 and a curve 8520 , only recently ( the past couple of weeks ) both bb's are playing tricks on me
I charged my blackberry bold 9700 to 95% just before I went to bed , and the next day when I turn my phone on , the battery was flat , and the same happened to my curve 8520 , not often but just a few times

And also when the battery dies out ,when I turn my bold 9700 back on , while charging , it will show 'there's a fault on your memory ' I went to opition , memory and click repair , however this matter is resolvable under my own hands , but how can I get rid of this annoying issue ?!?

Battery life on my bold 9700 lasted me at least 10 hours per day ( that's including calling , bbming , internet , listening to music and playing games ) which is pretty impressive , but now , 6 hours would be extremely lucky for me

Completely random but how come there's 2 massive spots below my Curve's LCD screen ?!? I never dropped any of phones what so ever and they are both in mint conidition , is there something to do with blackberries reliability ?!?

If you guys have any similar experience , please help me out or share your opitions with me

          Much thanks
          Nicky x

Hi all, I like BB9700 a lot and considering getting one. The only drawback is that it has no secondary camera for video call. I just dont understand why RIM can produce such a beauty gadget but forgot that part. Even Nokia E72 which is a lot cheaper has that feature.

Having owned over the past 20 months a Nokia 5800, an HTC Hero, iPhone 3G...the BB9700 is undoubtedly the best phone I have owned in a long time. Push email works amazingly well, screen is beautiful AND legible in sunlight(!), plenty of "Sensible" apps out there (not like the 1001 f*rt applications on other well known app stores...if Ronseal made 'phones - they'd make a BB!!

big_tj, 09 Jul 2010I am having problems playing YouTube videos on my 9700. Whe... moreHey, was getting a similar error until I updated my BB 9700's software. In Canada, the newest from TELUS to date is version 5.0.0.442 but in the USA you guys on AT&T have version 5.0.0.602 already.

You can check your phone's current version by going to "Options" and then "About" (the first option). After the update, YouTube content at least worked, although at silly quality.

Software update is free from BlackBerry's website and you need BB Desktop Manager to update. Hope this helped!
