Mine suffers from loose bezel and squeaky end button. Quite annoying really and I'm on my 2nd replacement from Globe. Except those issues, the phone is brilliant for texting, instant messaging.

The one with the blue ATL sticker on the box. That's the official BlackBerry release in the Philippines. Never buy from Gray/Greenhills tiangge.

Is this BB good for youtube videos, because I have the 8520 and even on WiFi is loading me everytime low quality videos. And the bad part is that like 7 of 10 of the videos u can not play it. Damn.... :)

I pulled out the battery and connected it to the BB desktop Manager for a new software update. at the point of initializing, i inserted back the battery and the update ran smoothly all through after which the phone came back to life. Though i lost all install apps, i am so happy to have it back on and running. Thanks for your help.

alisya, 20 Jun 2010i m a new bold 9700 user,i got it from my country n now my ... moreMy advice would be to get it unlocked from your carrier and ask them to free the PIN before leaving, just tell them you'll need to be out of the country and need to get a SIM card with service wherever you have to go. They should be able to help you out. Then, when you get to Vietnam, activate your service there. Just be sure to ask if they can help you free the PIN from their data base when you need to go back to your country. Otherwise you won't be able to get your local service back.
Or you could get a roaming data package so you don't pay roaming fees. Or just use wifi.

i m a new bold 9700 user,i got it from my country n now my company transfer me to oversea (vietnam) i have no idea how can i keep in touch with my BBM friend since i m still using my local number n when i check my bill for 1 day usage for bbm rise up soo fast..any advice??

belushi, 19 Jun 2010hello people. i have a problem with the bold 2 i just bough... moreSeems your OS is corrupted. You need to connect it to your PC with the battery out. Open Desktop Manager and then put the battery in. The PC should detect it and let it turn on normally. If not, then try turning it on in "safe" mode. When you put the battery back in, and the Blackbberry screen shows, press and hold the Back key, the one next to the End key. Let us know if it works.
