I've had the phone for a month and my only complaint is that the trackpad stopped working (it doesn't click down), but T-Mobile said it's probably defective, so their sending me a new one.

Wifi is a hardware feature, it comes built into the phone to be able to search and read wifi signals. But, without the BIS plan, you will only be able to use the internet, and some apps that work with wifi. FB app won't work but the mobile site will. Email won't be pushed but you can go on the web site. Or use an app that is called ShangMail or something like that. If you want a blackberry, its best you get it with a BIS plan.

Was going to buy the 9700, but what put me off was the price. It is a fantastic handset, but when it comes down to the cash... an extra €250 between the 8520 and 9700 it was not worth the few extra features. Only real extra features are 3G a slightly faster processor. Nervously I got the 8520 and am so happy I did not waste the extra cash. If money is no concern 3G and the processor are great, plus the 9700 looks amazing astatically but 8520 is still the better buy for the money, which is always my most important decider for me!

Vondran, 04 Mar 2010Hi out there, which one do you recommend, Bold 9000 or Bold... morenot really fail but it accumulates dirt which will affect the precision. i am happy to replace my 9000 with this one as an upgrade. track pad is much more better and precise.
ohh and the camera is alooooot more better, its like u have a 5mp on a 3mp shooter.
the body sized shrink a little though still nice in handling.

Hi out there, which one do you recommend, Bold 9000 or Bold 9700, on the desing I like the 9000 but I read some comments that stated that the scroll boll usually fails, on the other hand I don`t like the cheap-like desing of the 9700 but it comes with digital track ball. Please, your feedback is more than welcome

I think that ur phone may probably have an issue cuz the buttons are so smooth and easy to press . Then u should send it for repairs my dude ... Keep it lock !!

I want to get a Blackberry and have more or less narrowed it down to BB 9700/BB 8900/BB 8520. Now I just need to know what the prices are exactly and which one is the best,second best and last out of these 3 in terms of all features.I basically want one so that I can check email n FB n listen to music...can someone help me out?

Hi, just got the bb 9700. is the end call button harder to press compared to the calling button ? i got some difficulties with the end call button. it doesnt detect unless i use a little bit more force. any1 got tis problem? or is it designed like this?

Well i got 9700 bold 2 ..man its awzom but a lil expensive but it has lots of feature.Thumps up BB and guys i advise you want the best go for it

just got my bb bold 9700, and i just updated it to the newest firmware.
i am a nokia user eversince, but i was sooo amazed with this one. its simply awesome.!
