the 9700 is a great phone the only issue is the trackpad it leans slightly to the left not a biggie but they are kinda all the same. poor build

The easiest way is via the BlackBerry Desktop software and Outlook if you happen to use it (or the Mac OS address book). I've had pictures for my contacts on multiple 'Berries all the way back to my 8310.

HELP! Can you attach pictures to your contacts so that when they call their pictures show up on the display?
It is really important for me to know this as I need to have pictures to names for me to remember people around the globe. Thanks a bunch!

now just trying my best to get used to the smaller keyboard and forget the 9000's
but for this , the 9700 is a tech-wonder!!!

sniper , 02 Feb 2010guys am planing to buy BB but i like the 9000 because i lik... morebuddy , for ppl like us who type/text a lot either for chat or emails , there is nothing better than the bold9000 as the keyboard is outta the world. beleive me , i just bought the bold9700 3 days back and i would have found it to be the best BB ever made had i stuck to a curve or something and not got used to the confy keyboard of the 9000. i guess a 9000 user with extensive use of the keyboard cannot be satisfied with the 9700 , even though the latter is superior and latest

guys am planing to buy BB but i like the 9000 because i like to type and chat alot and i check both yesterday and i found the 9000 more more comfortable keyboard also i like the 9700 because its the last and had many good feautres so which one i pick ? honsly my heart go for 9000 ....:)))

i havin iphone and a htc hd2 at the min the htc hd2 is going back as i have had nothing but problems the screen crashes the bottom half of the thouch screen stops working and goes black the phone keeps screen rotating by itself and keeps dropping calls as the touch screen comes on half way through a call. Was looking at Eather this or the storm 2 can any one tell me if eather of them will play movies bought from itunes m4v format and if not can anyone sugest a few phones that will other than the iphone

This is the best allround mobile.
but still confused here in India 9700 is 60% more expensive than Nokia e72 which in specification almost identical. Bad pricing by Blackberry.
