After such a long wait, i finally got the Bold 9700. I am certainly not disappointed by it whatsoever and it is absolutely fabulous! RIM just keep better and better and, as a result, i have noticed a lot more people are using the blackberry now. Not even the Apple iPhone can beat its email functions and oh! the new trackpad is great.

Does any of you have shopped from Welectronic.com or Cleverkit.com? Are they reliable? I want to buy the Bold from online as I can't find it in Hong Kong?

Can't wait! I ordered mine as soon as I received my availability email. I already have the T-mobile Bold released in Germany last year. I can't wait to check out the trackpad. The only thing I'm sorry to not see, is the 1GB onboard memory, like the 9000. As many apps as I have on my 9000, that would have been nice, but I can just get the bigger memory card. Still, I can't wait!

battery die fast and I can't make calls sometimes it said "can not connect, call in process", I don't know why?

The keyboard of 9000 is much better than of 9700. I have tried using 9700 for 20 minutes. Its not bad at all but not as comfortable to use as 9000 bold. The screen has also been shrunk. So the feel good factor of big screen has gone. The full leather back has also been replace by a smaller one. The classines of the 9000 bold is not there in 9700. Performance levels are the same. The sound quality is same as well.
I couldn't find there any major upgrade (except the 3.2 MP camera) which could attract 9000 users to replace their 9000 with 9700.
BOLD 9000 is a much practical & no-nonsense phone :)

I want to buy the Bold from a Germany Online Shopping as Hong Kong will not have it until late in 2010. However, I want to know do I need to get the phone unlock if I use it in Hong Kong. Thanks

Does anyone know whether the sound quality on this phone is better or similar to that of the bold 9000? The sound on the bold is the best i've ever heard from any blackberry outthere. Althought they came out with the tour, the sound/speaker quality on the tour was alot lower and weaker than that of the bold. I have the 9000 currently, before i buy the 9700 i want to know how well the sound/speakphone quality is compared to the 9000. Thanks..

got my bold2 on 13-11-09. all the best features of the orignal bold and the style and compact design of the 8900-form and function no comprimise!!
