Dewo, 18 Oct 2009Wow 802 that's great thanks for the Info, i hope that's off... moreYes the processor is fast. Web browsing will be better on the N900, but the 9700 will be more stable. Until Nokia comes out with Maemo 5, I wouldn't touch the N900 because it will probably have a lot of bugs.
It's funny how people keep saying the E72 is better than the 9700 when the E72 is nowhere to be found. Nokia keeps delaying the release of that phone, and I wonder if there are some serious software issues with that phone.

I wish we could save apps in the memory card as well. Hopefully BB will address that issue in their future devices.

I'm currently using the Bold and I'm definitely getting the 9700. I'm looking foward to using the trackpad!

Nokiafan, 16 Oct 2009I think the CPU on the 9700 is 802mhz. Plus it has double t... moreWow 802 that's great thanks for the Info, i hope that's official, If that is true that means it will be far superior than the N900 (and to think somebody compares 9700 to the Nokia E71 or 72 hah no competition). plus no track ball, so no more problem on trackball getting dirty and reducing the performance because track pad is easier to clean

But I wish BB can install application on Storage or memcard like nokia does...

anyway I will change my 8900 to 9700

I have BBStorm 1 & I do really like the look of the new Bold. Do I stay with the Storm as I have never had a qwerty smartfone, or do I stick to what I know with the Storm?

Well I think the 9700 will the best blackberry handset ever made. Right size and a beautiful screen to surf and emails. if only we could get something like that from nokia. Nokia make some nice handset but lately they are very small.

It's defiantly lighter than the BOLD 9000, it's as big as the 8900 CURVE just slightly heavier. In the pocket you wouldn't notice the difference!

Does New Blackberry Bold9700 have a noise reduction like Crystal Talk?

For a voice call, sound quality of Motorola A3100 is better than any smart phone in a noisy area eventhough it does not have a Crystal Talk.If Blackberry focus on a hardwear speaker phone with noise reduction system,it will be better than any phone.

So, does anyone have information on speaker hardwear of Nokia, Blackberry, Samsung,Philips?

To DEWO....I am in S. Korea and frequent japan and thailand often. never been to indonesia so not sure how they are from a technology standpoint compared to japan, korea, but bb is barely exists here. As far as sales figures go, I specifically said "SALES FIGURES OF THE E71" check out the reviews and accolades this phone has received on ANY website. Phone of the year for instance..(wired magazine) I still have an N70 (hold old is that) that runs circles around many phones of today spec wise. I won't even bring up the NOKIA N73 or the N82 that still are KILLERS. I'm not taking anything away from blackberry, i really like the 8900 and I'm guessing I will really like the 9700, but spec for spec...I'm guessing the E72 will win out and best believe there will be tons of articles comparing the 2 head to head. And for those mis informed souls that worry about BBM/push mail....Nokia DOES support it now after going away from it for a while. And if it didn't I suspect that a vast majority of the people on this site that claim to NEED it,, really don't so stop acting like you are DONALD freekin TRUMP or somebody. I don't need it at all but its a feature I want for no other reason but to say that "I have it" cuz i am a gadget person.

I just wondering, if the application memory bigger than tour 9630.
Because, in the older bold 9000, slower than tour.
And I believe, it comes from how many free of the application memory.

Why is that BB put great processors on phones like the Bold 9000 or 9700 and then no VOIP, no Skype to run? I dont understand what is the need of having such a fast processor if then the device is blocked for using Skype????
