When 3g signal is strong enough, your phone will be on 3g. That's dual mode. If your phone would be only on 3g, your connection might be broken when signal is lost. If you don't have 3g signal when dual mode is on, that means that your operator's infrastructure is not developed enough. Cheers mate!

Hello everyone my name is emmanuel from nigeria, I've been using the bold 2 for close to a year I however just got another one from t mobile (white) a beauty. My problem however is on the network options there is no 3g option, just 2g, then 2g&3g
Pls can anybody tell me how to fix dis. I resally need the 3g option. Thanks.

just a quick question because been arguing with my friend about this. she says that BBs have this feature that can block messages from numbers that are not stored in the phone?? is this true?? or there might be an application that can be installed to the BB unit?? would BB allow/reject such??

format the memory card, i have upgraded my BB 9700 to OS 6 works great. had installed os officially from BB service center in March 2011 works great

Mine works perfectl ok With Os 6. Just love the floating style menu and animations, speed too has increased. Great improvement on OS. and search option is awesome.

i love this phone so much just got mine yesterday. its the bomb! if i didnt have big hands it wouldve been perfect ehehe.. keypads are quite small for me but im getting used to it.. battery life is fantastic.. been calling/texting since morning and browsing internet from time to time.. its almost midnight and i still have like 40 percent of battery. camera is also nice.. decent, sounds are loud enough.. fast wifi, what more can u ask for! im inlove :0)

i have a blackberry 9700,today i updated my phone then my music folder couldnot add the media player,but the folder add as anoter option it reads?what the prblm is?or i add as the music in a separate folder? is that problm

If your app world icon is missing, try the following:
1) plug it in your PC and launch bb desktop
- in your app directory, see if the app world has a "+" sign, if it does, pres the sign.
2) try to download the app with your browser, and then batery pul :)

My wife has brought it for from America 5 years ago. I am using it as a phone since then but now I wanted to use for internet service by connecting to my lap top but unfortunately the disc brought with rim was lost.
