thanks for all the "help" im buying this phone without eanyone replying 2 my questions i dont think im going to be disapionted because i did my resertsh(excuse my spelling)and this is 1 of the best i could find(not even sure the torch is better)but if jou can go for the BBB 9780 (the onley diferince between 9700 and 9780 is the 9780 has 5 mp cammera and os 6 and the 9700 has 3,15 mp cammera and os 5)but if your not into photos and the 9700 will be cheaper you can get it and dont worry about the os5 it can be upgraded and the cammera is still damn good for 3,15 mp (and both the 9780 and 9700's skreen reselotion is gr8 so eaven bad photos will look good)

i am confussed on buying cell ph... moreHmm I should chose for Blackberry, Nokia is not realy into the smartphone world yet. N8 has nice video its in HDMI its looks very nice. But I found 1 problem, Windows live messenger doesn't work on the Nokia N8. It won't let you to login on your Email.
And Bbm is via internet but u can use it. If you are in a Wifi zone u can use Bbm and al the other things what needs internet connection. Blackberry mostly need Internet for the most applications. I got unlimited online on my blackberry. And I must say "I love it". I even do this post With my Blackberry haha.
If you realy want a smartphone than chose Blackberry instead of Nokia. Nokia is still working to get better work in smartphones. Maybe in the future they have better smartphones. The work together with Mircosoft now to get the good software for Smartphones.
So my opinion is to get a BlackBerry its so easy to use :).

If u have Premium version u can get radio's all over the world. But i think if ur an american u don't listen to like russia music, no discrimination, just an example.. So there is able to get an application to listen to the radio :).

can i download radio software for bb bold 9700? please help, i want to buy it so badly, but that is the only thing that's puting me off, because it does not have radio as part of its features:-(

Spent nearly a month of research on the following phones - all of which i like. BB9700, BB9300, Nok E72, Nok 5, Nok E71. It is not possible to compare a bb to nokia are both have plusses and minusses (compared to each other).
My concern is only now a few "small things".
1) Does nokia E5 have the noisy camera shutter sound, which cannot be disabled even in silent mode, even after cancelling all warning sounds - like in E71. Dont know why nokia thinks that all are crooks out there to take silent, rotten pictures.
2) Does blackberry have a one month call records feature like the E series. Revieving calls received during the last week or 3 weeks back is a high priority to me. From my showroom level research i dont think that blackberry keeps more than 30 received calls. Thats like 3 hours to me. I would be delighted if I am wrong here.
Pls inform if you know about these.
Likely to go in for e5 or bb 9300. Good bang for the buck - both.

Ali, 09 Feb 2011Bold 2 or nokia e72 which one is better pls reply meI have both, I love BB more although 72 has better camera, BB thicker , it not work most application without BIS, better lcd, more expensive in S'pore .but never hang within few month I using, 72 need lot of power off & on for re-start
