9700 has no defects atall, please dont write comments stating that 9700 has software or any issues atall,. Blackberry 9700 is actually blackberrys device that has the least returns ever.

As a friend i would suggest you not to go for a 9700. It is a good phone with good features but it has lot of hardware issues.You are good untill u get an issue. I dont know where you are located, but if available go for the 9780, it looks exactly the same but with an upgraded hardware of 9700 and it doesnèt have that much flaws and also the software version is OS 6 which is really good....!!!

deatheater, 09 Jan 2011why ? whats the problem of upgrading it to os 6 ?This model is been discontinued. So there will not be a official release of the OS version 6 for 9700. The new bold 9780 has an upgraded hardware with the same looks of 9700 and it is running OS 6. there is a leaked version available for 9700 but would not be that great....

bold 2 sumtime hangs when i put sum extra load and i didn't get very fast browsing on the set. everything else is so fine.

hi i jus got a brand new 9700.. it says to unlock n requires a password... anyways to reset dis? i can even c the service provider.. but it wont unlock the home screen... :(
