I love my bold. Regardless of what other say. Nothing can replace the real physical keyboard. I have a 3gs but BB is still my daily driver. Still wonder why this does not get os6 update ????

I dnt knw bt I like mine so much just upgraded to os 5.0.0.1014 thought their would be a lot of changes bt nothing I see so far its awesome want 2 put os6 on my devise bt I'm gonna wait until maybe a nxt version comes out

Good mobile overall, but some shortfalls - 3.15 Mp at a cost of 24K is very less, 3G mobile but no Video calling possible as no front camera,Blackberry PCSuite is not very good and userfriendly as of Nokia. Also if you are a touch screen fan this mobile is not for you. My opinion Spending 24K for this mobile is just a waste of money, you can get other mobiles in the price range of 15K with all its feature..

yeah just 1 more month to wait and i'll be having this phone! i've been choosing between BB bold or e72 but i've read many comments that BB bold is far better than e72 :))

You'll need to download the updater first then install on your PC. After that plug your Bold 9700 so that the software updater will automatically diagnose which upgrades are available to you. If you wish to upgrade to OS 6, you need to be subscribed to BIS or BES, updating to OS 6 requires this.
If you are, just follow the prompts to upgrade, it will automatically back up all your files, upgrade the software, then restore all your files and apps back.
Viola! BlackBerry OS 6 on your Bold 9700!!! Enjoy!
