U are darn wrong,i have been using this phone since Oct 2010.Bold 9780 battery backup is best in its category( TALK TIME-Up to 5 hrs)--point to be taken is m a sales personnel hence i have to tall alot.

Hi guys,
I just want to know if there's much difference between Bold 9700 and Bold 9780?
I just upgraded from the Bold 9000 to BB 9700 about 10 months ago, but I'm so in love with Blackberry especially Bold series. But if the difference is only the camera mega pixels, I think I'll wait for them to release another WOWWW BB. Don't really like the Bold 9800.
So anyone? I'm in need for suggestions, before I rush to go and buy the bold 9780.

could anyone tell why the battery on the bold 9780 doesn't last more than 2 hrs, even its not in use. its very weird. i set everything that could the battery to the minimum, but still cant last. thank you!!!!!

I have purchased this phone.. I was using Curve 9300.
I love this phone very much.. great for a blackberry make. I recommend it.. For ppl wo are comparing this phone with iphone, let me tell that, a blackberry is a blackberry, it is purely made for corporates and businesses.. when a ceo or a manager gets a call and takes his phone out, attends the call and keeps on his desk, which one do u prefer, iphone would make him look like a cool dude.. but blackberry will add up some spice on the corporate look.. THATS BlackBerry!! I understand that BB cannot compete with iphone. But there are needs that have to be met for a BlackBerry.. Go Ahead for 9780 gr8 phone.. OS 6.0 is gr8.

1. very very slow for re-config thumbnails after sync. specialy for pictures & vedios.
2. you had to use both hands.
3. in the connection area when you click on it some times you lost the mouse pointer & you had to back & entering again.
4. too much expensive when you can not use blackberry services & you lost online services that you can have it easily on iphone.
5. not support "farsi" fonts
6. slow processor for this cost
7. forgot gps navigation, google map & ... when you are in iran or same countries
8. 65k display colour for this price !!!!!!!!
9. limited app insted of iphone app store
sum:
if you don't have bb services on your service provider forget this brand at the first look & if you want these items jump to iphone world.

I got this phone a week ago and I love it. I don't find it slow at all and I don't have an internet card. The screen is clear, its easy to navigate. The keys are quite big for a blackberry and the camera is awesome too. The video quality is great, the sound is also great. I can't say anything bad about it

Blackberry! Make new products that can compare to samsung s2 or lg 3d, or iphone 4, atrix....yes you have bbm so thats why you have my customers, but damn is that the only reason you can show off a blackberry, reasearch in motion, (slow motion)... i have my bb but am really pissed knowing that i cant use and have luxury features on my mobile.

hi ppl is this a must have phone? and if so why? and is it worth it to rather go for torch?or maby a tab? and if i get a BB on my dads contract will i have free FB and browsing even if i have a prepaid sim in the BB and my dad's sim (the contract sim)is in his phone and will mxit be free if i have free browsing? pls ppl help me i need a new phone soon because i hate using the crappieëst phone on the plannit an my mxit isnt eaven working (is the BB good for mxit because mxit is my life)
