GURU, 20 Dec 2010Research In Motion. Runs on Blackberry OSmy HTC mobile facebook don't have fb im! so I need go other website to install it but too bad after install it can't chat with my fren ... I just request the phone got fb im, internet got javascript & etc..

9780 will like my HTC ?

Why do we have to setup wifi in order to use the wifi feature and always have to do a search. other brands picks up wi-fi automatically.

Tell me...
I have been a Nokia user forever. I am looking at switching to the BB 9780.
Will I be able to activate and deactivate emails as and when I require or will my email always be switched on? From time to time, I like to totally switch off emails. Also, how quick is the internet?

Karen, 20 Dec 2010I'm a HTC hd2, touch diamond2 user & I found both of my... morebb9700 works on OS 5.0 & the new bb9780 runs on OS 6.00.
OS 6.00 is a more richer interface, with some smart shrotcuts and richer visibility in terms of menus & browsing, document viewing etc. OS 6.00 requires minimum 512 MB Ram which the 9780 has.
However, the 9780 OS 6.00 being newly introduced in October, 2010, has lesser availability of apllications, themes etc on the web. Even the theme developer for OS 6.00 is not yet out from RIM. But the same would be available in a couple of months.
Go for a 9780 with OS 6.00. You wont regret.

I'm a HTC hd2, touch diamond2 user & I found both of my HTC phone suck.. one of my fren using 9700, she say quite good. but between bbb9700 & bbb9780 which one is better phone? pls advance..

goody egyptian in ku, 19 Dec 2010i have nokia c7 and it more features than this new BB 9780 ... moreI'm sure it's a great phone, always liked nokia but it's UI has always been a bit boring and plain for me. but the big part about the C7 is that is's a touchscreen. Most people i know who own a blackberry(Or any phone with buttons) is because they don't like touch screens and like having real buttons they can press. Not trolling either.
