if u r beginner for the blackberry thn u must use blackberry curve 8520 or 8530...
it is the basic bb cellphone...
If u r comfortable vit bb thn u cn go for bb torch 2 9810...

i got a white bold3 last week..i was using curve 3G 9300 earlier ..the ram is great..battery life is fantastic..3g speed is also good enough..battery life is awesome...i charge it every 2 days..love this piece..:-)

Hello Everyone!
This is the first time, I'm posting a review for a hand held device.
After reading all the rest of the reviews by users, I got myself a slightly used BlackBerry Bold 9780 a week back, and I got to tell you lot, this is DEFINITELY THE BEST BlackBerry device EVER! The battery lasts me more than 24 hours, the OS runs really smoothly (First time using OS 6.0) the Camera is very decent for 5mp, and if one download apps (such as, Photo Studio Editor) you can actually do some great photography with it! The design is reall sleek and elegant, so it all comes down to this :
If you're a heavy user and really looking for the only BlackBerry that has the BEST battery life, then look no further..this is just what you need!

Bold 1 = Bold 9000
Bold 2 = Bold 9700
Bold 3 = Bold 9780 the best
Bold 4 = Bold 9790 the good
Bold 5 = Bold 9900

One thing not mentioned here in the features is that Blackberry Bold 9780 also plays MP4 but only in 480 X 360 resolution.

My 9780's battery can only last for a day even though I've switched to "2G" option, really disappointed :(

I've been using BB models for the last 03 years and I'm quite satisfied with my handset n currently I'm using 9780 Bold. But the only trouble I had and facing now is to download BB themes. I tried many ways n many websites but cud not. My country is Nepal. So pls I'd like to know abt the process from u.

ricky, 07 Feb 2012hi all BB with OS6 bold 9780 or BB with OS7 BB 9790 ... moreThe differece of OS 7 in Bellagio 9790 is only the colored icons.. it battery drains quickly, charge it twice a day, ringing is too low. I owned it for 3 days & sold it. Now Im back with Onyx II 9780 battery is powerfull, charge it once in three days.
Go for 9780 trust me, 9790 & 9900 are crap.
