This phone is really amazing. bought it a week ago and i am simply loving it. apps run smoothly no lags at all. camera quality is great. messaging qualities are the best. battery backup is good, lasts about 2 day with moderate usage. call quality is great, no droping calls.
so far i am loving this device and if anyone wants to buy bold 9780 i'll just say.. go for it..its the best no nonsense handset you can buy right now. you will not regret on buying this device. BB ROCKS...

Aiman, 17 Oct 2011I have a question, Bold 9700 and Bold 9780, which one is be... moreI own a 9780 and my wife has the 9700, having experienced both I can say that the 9780 is faster, more responsive, has a larger memory and is (only slightly) easier to use.
I'd say there's little to differentiate them but the 9780 is certainly the better of the two, if only by a small ammount

ves, 12 Oct 2011Been using this phone for a few months now and was just won... moreyeah, you have a hige memory card and so the pone cannot handle it...
make sure you use a mobile ultra sandisk in a bold 9780.. i has same issue.. went to a mobile ultra and its fine..
the memory cards take ages to let them write the file to the card, so a higher memory class the card, the better!
dont just buy a sdhc, but a mobile ultra! they are worth the money in the end! best size card for bb 9780 is 8gb.. do not exceed 16gb!! it will acceot a 32gb, but it's sooo slow!.. mobile ultra cards or higher! make sure you check the class of the card!

24hrs is good... 9900 lasts less!! lmao

also the 9780 suports 32gb cards etc!!....... 9780 is quicker too

The Blackberry bold 9780 is an awesome phone.I have purchased it few days back and it is working fine for me.the web browing speed with 3G speed is just amazing.Picture quality is ok.a phone with real value for money.
