Can I use this phone without subscribing to Blackberry services. That is download my email, surf internet etc from the normal Internet service provided?

All I can say is that it's the BEST and the COOLEST Blackberry phone these days. Well it's up to you if you want to upgrade that to Blackberry 9900. Ive been using it for a month and I really i love it. ;)

why is that i cannot use the themes that i download from blackberry world? i installed it but its not working.... i cannot see it in the themes section? kindly help me pls......

I've got this phone right now and must say its very nice. I have the white version and it looks very smart. Always have people complimenting how nice it looks :) Only problem i get with it is texting as the buttons are quite small and for some reason when i'm texting i end up pressing some buttons twice so end up kind of likke thhis. lol
Otherwise anazing phone works great with e-mail, facebook, and any other social site all integrated in your phone and notifications on the home screen.
Cant wait to get the Bold 9900 hopefully next week!!

max, 26 Aug 2011is there any differnece besides the specifications,between ... morethere are three difference between 9700 and 9780:
9700 RAM is 256 MB but 9780 is 512 MB
9700 Camera is 3.15 MP but 9780 is 5 MP.
9700 card slot is up to 16 GB but 9780 is up to 32 MB.
