You will be disappointed.The soul of a blackberry is its services, which once activated will open the doors to lots of features. Without it its just a ordinary phone which can be used for only calling and sms.

bought it 3 days ago and i can simply say i m loving it.impressive battery life,looks, n i own it in white colour so sexy it is.

Blackberry bold 9780 is the best Blackberry ever. I love everything about it. Battery keeps me about 12 to 16 hours. Very good phone. Its a must have..

i heard the bb is not enjoyable without bbm but if i bought this fone i m not going to activate a bbm...so what do you suggest nokia n8 or bold 9780 without bbm??plz helpp

I encounter problems with battery it last only for a day..am really upset plus nimbuzz issue i cannot sign in, it says i need to check my device and network internet settings,but i can connect to other messenger..worst!!! i cannot access the appworld it's not supported OS 6 here in Saudi.. grrrr...

dipankar, 06 Jun 2011hi, i am thinking of buying the bold 9780, i have some ques... more1. the BB bold 9780 supports full and extended GPS - don't worry, just get it.
2. its a business phone - not a chick thing - i don't think any 'trendy' covers are available.
3. all the multimedia features are available - just the UI and user experience is a little bland.
4. camera is alright - breaks even.
PS : if you want to buy it and haven't bought it yet, then buy it from dealsandyou.com - good price. do NOT pay more than 20K for it. alright, or else wait for 9900 to come out - take 9780 then for an even less price.

Well i have this phone for almost 2 months now and i can say that the experience is great! I usually go online like twitter, FB, BBM, YM plus listening to music almost every minute and the battery is able to cope up and last the entire day! I don't know if other phones can do that like iphone or android....

I have used the Bold 9780 for little over one month. Just can say it's a lovely mobile to have. Classy phone. I am online 24 hours with gtalk and yahoo and lsiten to some music sometimes also, the battery gets through the day. I charge it every night.
It would have been magnificient if the battery stayed for about two days. Other than that, I recommend this classy handset for anyone.

hi.. whenever i im receiving text messages, there is an option to press R to reply.. but not working. instead, there is a pop-up asking me to assign speed dial to letter R.. how to solve this? quite disapointed. ughhh

Anonymous, 12 Jun 2011stanby only 1 days plus !!! this model no good,are you sure only 1 day? mine stands by for 7 days without charging and with average calls + smses. maybe you should close all unused apps and shut off the wifi. if you're using it the 1st time, drain the batt then charge overnight. the batt gets better after couple of rounds of charge.
