This phone 9790 has plenty of bugs , why is it that blackberry does not release any software update to fix the problem...... WAKEUP BLACKBERRY....

I had earlier posted my views about this phone. It's been 2 months and I must say, regretting buying it.
-Overheats.
-Out of nowhere, one fine day I get a message saying "Internal Media Storage Error. Format or Repair?"
I chose repair, and all of a sudden, the total memory (mind you, not free memory) comes down to 6gb from 8gb.
-Every photo has a yellowish tinge on the upper right corner, its not obvious in the beginning, but use a white background, and it becomes pretty obvious.
Let me know if any of you faced similiar issues. Thanks.

I have been a 9780 fan and loved that model every way. I bought 9790 in December 2011. Could not stand it even 2 days. It was horrible. Sold it and waited. Now I got another 9790 from February 2012 production batch. First 2 days it used to become hot. But dont know what and why happened that since that it has been 1 week and 9790 is performing like a king. Much faster than 9780, much better camera, 80 to 90% of battery usage time compared to 9780. I can use it for about 30 to 33 hours on single charge. Not bad as it has touch screen, higher processor and better menus than 9780 which used to last about 35 to 38 hours on charge. I still loves the built quality of 9780 but considering the overall performance I am quiet satisfied with 9790 and enjoy using it. Good Bye 9780 and welcome 9790.

I have this phone its awesome. There is a problem of overheating that I had once and it was because of the charger plug that you get with the phone. If you have the older version BB plug than this will not happen. Touch screen is awesome, a lot of data you can store, slick sexy look. The best blackberry out right now.

Hi All,
I want to buy a Blackberry mobile-may be in a month's time. My requirements are:
1.Good battery life
2.Good processor
3.Ease of use(user friendliness)
4.Reasonable camera performance
5.Qwerty key pad
6.Good music quality
7.Reasonable internal storage
What I don't want:
1.Touchscreen
2.Playing games
3.Watching video
The phone will be used mostly for official work.So, nothing better than BB,I think. Accessing net
for entertainment will be part-time job.
I am a middle level banker and have so far mostly used Nokia phones( using C7 and E72 presently).
My budget for this new handset is around 30K.
Request the actual users to help me in selecting the correct BB model.Or, should I look for some
other handset like Samsung/HTC/Motorola?

Nice model, sleek and light weight. But highly priced for a plastic body. Its bold 5, touch + keypad hence battery is not as great as the blackberry model i last had. Yet the talk time is 3.5 hrs.
My handset had an issue with signals. But if you report any problem at a service centre within 15 days of purchase you get a brand new model as replacement.

This thing has a very good camera, far better than a 9780's. And compared to 9360, this is way way better. I have this thing, You should go for it:)
