i will NEVER EVER EVER buy a blackerry again after the dissapointment of the 9900, ive had it for 4 months and its totally broken...to the point it doesnt even switch on its never been dropped and its in immaculate condition shame cus i had the old bold and the curve and they were both fine.....BLACKBERRY's have let me down this time ....im off to get an iphone4s steer cleer of the bb bold 9900 guys :)

I've been using BlackBerrys since I started using cellphones. I had the BB Pearl, BB Storm, different Curves and I recently perchased the Bold 9900. The Pearl didn't last me longer than a month (not surprised) and the Storm wasnt too great either. I always had problems. I bought the BB Curve 8530 last September. That phone was literally the best phone I had ever used in my life. Sure, there were some slight cons to the phone like everything else in life, but it was extremely realiable. I usually am accessable to a phone charger at both my jobs so battery life wasn't a problem. I've been using the Bold for about a week now. A few days after I purchased it, it shut down on me and wouldnt turn back on until I uploaded the software which is understandable. I did that , and so far, the phone is working beautifully. People wouldn't have any problems if they just treated their phones with care. They arent crappy little toys you can just throw around and expect nothing to happen to them. Treat the phone well, and I guarentee there will be no problems. Install updates whenever needed. Also, people need to stop complaining about battery life and how crappy it is on BBs. You are literally probably running so many applications, browsers, sms, bbm, ect, on the phone of course it will die if you are always on it?

Hi! I'm an iPhone user and last week i bought this phone. i think i like this better. so much. better battery life and more feutures but if you want an iPhone because of the apps you can just buy a nice phone which is a blackberry and you buy an iPod touch, for the games and songs. I LOVE BLACKBERRY :D

BB has Never let me down in anyway shape or form! This is also Not my first BB as I've owned most BB's! I've personally got an iphone 4s and BB and most people go for the iphone due to the fact that the battery is poorer on 9900 than previous BB's however....the iphone ISN'T the greatest in battery performance in terms of smartphones either!

i think the phone in general is a nice buy. my torch had battery issues and i can commit t othis as its easier to handle and very thin. cant wait

I m using it from last 4 months. I use it internet browsing, 3g services, continuous music. It gives me 1.5 days backup.

Iphone more fun, reliable and easier to use. the only thing better on the bb is e-mail. however if your e-mail works on iphone dont change at all.

Why all of you are behind battery backup .which smartphone giving you more than a day.smart phones are not just used to make calls unlimited net browsing,watching videos,camera etc.How can you expect battery backup again.REMEMBER NO SMART PHONE ON THIS HEAVENLY EARTH GIVES BATTERY BACKUP LONGER.
OTHERWISE don't ever compare bb bold9900 with any other mobiles.if you want to compare you do it with other qwerty phones.AND MY VERDICT IS BB IS THE BEST QWERTY PHONE.compare to nokia e series,htc chacha,or motorola androids Etal.
Bb's display,fast browsing,you tube ,downloading and all are extremely fast.It is portable,stylish and ofcourse trendy.Again don't copmare with I phone or samsung galaxy series.Compare in tis own segment.Then you will know the importance of BLack berry bold 9900.IT IS MARVELOUS PHONE IN ITS SEGMENT.

While the Iphone has hundreds of thousands of apps, Blackberry OS has just over 10000. However, I'm satisfied with the apps that BB offer. The Bold also has a very good browser in my opinion and Social Integration is also very good. The keyboard is soft and comfortable to type with, so I definitely recommend the BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 :)

Both are good phones and it's NO point trying to compare them both like most people do! I've both 9900 and 4s. Neither is better than one another as the main purpose are served differently! Apps for iphone and calls / BBM is my useage! It's like trying to compare a supercar with an off roader! Depends where you take it! Hope this helps.

When i purchased this phone i did charge for the required time, not doing anything different from all my other BB. I will charge it b4 i go to bed and guranted in the morning it will be completly dead. I thought maybe i have something running in the background like a open browser but nothing. I had 2 batteries and they are both doing the same ting. My guess its the phone, but as every1 has commented its a common fault with the phone. Thanks for reply.
