Forget the battery guys u should focus on amazing keyboard and display and the thikness of 9900 WooooooW ... Am agree with all of ya about battery but its normal for me coz am using smart phone .

akeel, 19 Jan 2012how can i save battery because battery life is very lawset ur phone to use 2g only, battery lasts much longer. FB, twitter still works

i just have shifted from bb 9780 to bb 9900, the baddest part is battery. it hardly finish my one day. within 9 hrs the battery falls to 10% in very nominal use. i am not even using twitter or facebook very frequently.
even the camera has no smart features like bold 3. close photography, and no auto focus option given due to so close pictures including text pictures are always blur.
in terms of cost, this phone has many drawbacks.
disappointed of using 9900. bb 9780 is better.

raj, 15 Jan 2012I hav big problem with battery, ia their any solution for i... morebuy a gold battery with twice the life. turn brightness down to 20pct. charge drain 3times then your battery will last a whole day .. mine does even with bloomberg running and phonecalls. also if you are in the countryside with poor signal take off 3G!!!!!!

I'm disappointed with my new BB 9900. I just bought it last December 31, 2011 and now it's dead. I do not know what happened to the mother board, it just konked out while i'm charging it. What a waste of money. I thought it was a wise decision to buy a BB 9900.

getting 3rd OBF unit. battery life extremely bad... lucky if just on standby get 1 day. talk time as expected less than any blackberry on the market.. as for rest of unit its fast - can take a wile to not double touch touch screen and pad together.
seems like this got sorted on 2nd OBF unit.
phone gets extremely hot when on charge and does not last long on 3g nor GPS have a travel charger and car charger handy.
Loud speaker can tend to be a bit soft.
Keys are wonderful. - Camera EXCELLENT.
Screen BEST EVER.
Speed - EXCELLENT
