Already installed leak os 7.1.0.74 on my BB Bold 9900 (UNBRANDED,Genuine from Blackberry, coz i hate the A&t. tmobile/ verizon or whtever ugly logos on starup and housing) , and itss awsome feels good to get so much improvement as a 9900 owner, compared to the other bb's,
Hotspot and NFC support :D Beat that Bold9790 LOL

SGS11 is great for multimedia whilst BB is good for business! I love BB over SGS as BB are dedicated phone makers...SGS make a li'll bit of this and that! Don't get me wrong SGS is still a good handset! Personally I'd get BB! I love this handset! I use my BB for business and have an iphone 4 for multimedia. Good luck in whatever you choose!

This BB 9790 looks like a curve with a Bold keyboard that's all. There are firmware updates already out for BB 9900 that improve it's battery life anyway. People that received the first batch of the BB 9900 had problems because when it comes to any product there are always problems with the first batch.

Tell me later when your battery has depleted!!!! Then we'll talk! Also 9790 is only a glorified curve!!! BB9900 is a BOLD...!!!! Different courses for different horses!!!
It's like owning a BMW and comparing it with a Skoda!!! True both cars are German however, personally I wouldn't drive a Skoda despite it's come off the production line off VW!!! Get me drift!

And remember Pal, we are comparing a USD 600 BB 9900 with USD 150 BB 8520. Answer me my friend...I am listening my Buddy...I would like to add that I have already used BB 9790 for about an hour. Looks, speed, Beautiful auto focus camera and very user friendly size and form factor. I have used BB 9900 for 3 days. I can claim, BB 9790 wins in all respects. Yes, BB 9900 has high resolution and bigger screen but at the cost of battery life. Now if we talk in terms of technology, touch screen + keyboard can be found on USD 80 Sony Ericsson Aspen. 1 Ghz ++ processor can also be found on sub 200 and sub 250 Andoid phones. Lets not talk about specs and lets be practical on what benefit do you get and what you loose when you use them. Do the analysis, if at all your device enforces you to make compromises of any kind, if yes than that device is not yours and definitely not a winner when you are asked to pay a hefty price tag to own that device. Hope this clears your doubts my Buddy.

ALSO, you state that the 8520 does the same thing as 9900....your just a cheap skate!!! (Sorry to 8520) owners but this guy has NO ideal what he is talking about....8520 screen is NO way better than 9900....8520 does NOT have NFC....8520 does NOT have touch screen....8520 does NOT have 1.2 processor....8520 does NOT have half the features 9900 has!!!! Need I go on for more???? If your on here for trolling, please SOD off and grab a life so that genuine owners can feed back their opinions for people that do express a real interest on this model!

RIM has done a great job with BB 9790. It definitely wins all awards being slim, powerful and feature rich machine with great looks too. Cheers to all BB 9790 owners and feel sad for people who suffered injuries and pains during the launch of BB 9790 at pacific place in Jakarta. But come to think of it, BB 9900 owners must be furious for what happened to them. BB 9900 definitely looks and feel great in hand, but when it comes to real terms of performance and features it stands nowhere in competition against BB 9790. Its a total let down for BB 9900 owners who are left being a mere freelance Blackberry fans who paid heavy price to carry a logo and brick made by Blackberry in their hand morning till night and do advertising for Blackberry. Yes BB 9900 is a mere advertising gadget made by Blackberry and nothing else as it suffers all shortcomings and have carried a hefty price tag for nothhing but looks and feel. Remember BB 8520, it can do what BB 9900 can do but with the better battery life. Isn't it friends?

I love my Bold 9900! Its stylish, sassy and very dependable...Battery is okay...just dont use your internet a lot. It will definitely not give you a good performance...touch screen feature is cool and one touch free...I guess it comes with the expensive price..Very Good Buy!
