Despite what most complain about the battery....not sure about others but for at least the very first 3 charges, I usually drain the battery completely and charge up etc...this will give the maximum performance so looking after your battery in the first place gives you more return in the future! Hope this helps.

It looks good (as usually BlackBerry does) but... GPSP doesn't work as good as google maps on android, enterprise activation is still very simple, it doesn't offer to many options, the performance is sometimes slow, it freezes (even that it is new...) BlackBerry must change completly it OS...

This is a realy stupid phone!!!!!!!!!It frezis tho whole time!!!!!!!!!!!!Then i have to switch the phone off and start over......don't take this phone....it isent good

absolutely the best blackberry device when it comes to the performance, never seen the likes of it since bold 9780. however battery life is not as good as bold 9780. this has got to do with a faster processor as well as a better screen resolution. still a very practical and good phone. I PHONE 4S is nowhere near blackberry when it comes to usage

It is a fabulous phone, I am loving it. On THREE, you can use VoIP - Skype as well, plus BBM is extra-ordinary. QWERTY keypad is excellent... I can not get bored typing and everytime I use it, I explore new things in it as It has been only one week I have got it. Best phone in the market, must must buy...

there is no VOIP on blackberry and unfortunately no skype at all... this is the one and only thing missing from blackberry devices :(
bold 9900 is absolutely the best blackberry device available on the market now... it is way much better than 9780... I have both and there is nothing to compare... 9900 is KING
BUT... then again the battery issue is what makes 9780 better... 9780 battery lasts twice as much as the 9900

does this model have the tethering capability ? if so how does it work ? is it just plug the usb cable to the laptop and enable tethering on the phone ?

Ted, 20 Aug 2011You can use skype for chatting but not for video calling.how can you do this? I currently have a bold 9700 and would love to be able to use skype chat, but on the skype website it says that it is only available on certain ph's....

one solution to the battery problem is to change the setting to 2G only... the device battery is last 50% more when only on 2G
and then when 3G is need it... you activate it
